Anyone got a tattoo on the back of their head? I want pic related but how well can you see them once your hair has grown over?
The new Joker for Batman
Looks like Marilyn Manson 2.0
peek of my epaulet and chest. I have most of my arms done with traditional too. I've posted in the past.
I remember you and your epaulet, I want one too, still haven't got round to getting it due to financial reason; pic related what I want.
Russian prisoners would get Lenin, Stalin, Marx, and Engels tattooed on themselves if they were facing the death penalty - usually a firing squad - they thought this would deter their sentence as it is illegal to fire upon images of leaders, in these cases the offender would be hanged.
anyone else got a tattoo blog / pinterest?
Communism is degenerate too, all these prison tattoos are of communists
I want to incorporate Punpun into a geometric tattoo somehow, any artist here can sketch up something since my artistic skills are limited?
this is punpun btw
Like using Negative space inside pic related to create a punpun? ~
I used to be completely sure on getting traditional stuff with bold lines, but the more I see hyperrealism tattoos, the more I start to question what I really want to get done, and start to think traditional isn't that great.
So I was thinking about getting my first tattoo. Been talking to a buddy of mine about getting one together, and he's on board with it. Well anyways we were talking about about what we want, and I mentioned I thought about getting pic related. It's the emblem of a character named Hakumen from the game Blazblue. While I wanted it at first, I decided against it because of all the little details and I'm not sure how easy it is for a artist to do something like this, and the other reason is I don't want anything that can be easily related to anime or videogames so I'm trying to avoid weeb looking tattoos, so now I'm just sitting here thinking about what I want
Bout to get first tattoo
Friend and I thought I should get pic related
I decided against it cause it might to weeb looking
I want a tattoo of a bearded roman statue, doesn't get more bad ass than that.
Honestly it looks atrocious, not to mention you'd have to get it done pretty big to fit all that detail. It's like a mix of tribal with asian letters and a wolf, you couldn't make it any worse if you tried.
That said, if you like it and you're sure about it then absolutely go for it. I have shit everyone thinks is bad but I love it because it means something to me.
Grandmother recently passed and I want to get a tat for her. We used to call her "grandma beans". Most of the images I'm finding for inspo are kinda childish. Don't want it to be Jack and the Beanstalk-tier
I'm thinking of just freehanding a scribble and having it put on my arm, between my elbow and wrist.
pic example, literal scribble
I like the idea of a tattoo, but society has devalued it so much and I mean look at all the junk in this thread so far. so much of it is boring, generic, similar etc
I like imperfect things and would rather having something I did myself put on my body than something I found on the internet that "looks cool" and other people will think is "cool"
where the fuck are you dumb cucks getting these photos from
take shape into consideration and take your fucking time
or just be cool and get really well done traditional
you won't feel stupid in 10 years for buying into the black and white etching troll you all think is extremely original
Kind of related.
Are there any acceptable piercings?
I was considering getting one of these microdermals under/next to my eye like this filthy wench in the picture has. I rarely see it on girls yet alone guys, so it might be an original idea. I couldn't find any decent images of guys with them though.
I would say they are fashionable, and I have another one on my ass
I worked for just under 2 years on bulk carriers, that's the reason for the anchor... the Arabic is my name, and the actual handwriting of the guy who wrote it from when I was sailing around
So I THOUGHT I wanted a anime tattoo for my first tattoo, no special meaning or anything, just like how it looks. But I thought it would be smart to go google "anime tattoos" and now I would be to embarrassed to be seen in public with any kind of tattoo
If you've got a decent head of hair and no baldness in your family then there's next to no chance your tattoo your tattoo will show through your hair. Head tattoos are one of the easiest tattoos to cover, it's just sitting through them that's the problem. Back of the head is easier than the side, too.
Planning on getting bands like this on my left arm one large, one small to represent my mom and dad who recently passed away. Meaningful when explained but can stand by itself as just a tattoo if I don't want to explain it.
That feel when you want to go full muh heritage and get traditional tribal tattoos that have been almost extinct for centuries to try to help revive the custom.
>one small to represent my mom and dad who recently passed away
Sorry to hear about your pop mate but this is such a shit idea
why would you get a tattoo to remember them? do you think you'll forget them without one?
I figure if I ever get a permanent marking on my body it should have meaning. My parents passing back to back like this has been one of the most impact moments in my life, so If I do get a tattoo, it should represent them in some way. In the future I can look at it, remember them, and remember getting through what I felt when they passed.
having that deep of a meaning for such a ridiculously simple design is a faaar stretch
and it has no life or soul to it
if your tat is so simple you could just use an ultra fat sharpie magnum and do it yourself, its prob not that great of a tattoo, or at the very least shouldn't be associated with that deep of a meaning, id imagine your parents deserve more than a goddamn line for their lives, dontcha think?
but i will give you this, as an apprentice tattoo artist thats heavily into irezumi, and old school american traditional, i do oddly like the simplistic aesthetic of those bands, its just really a far stretch to associate a deep meaning to them though, and think your parents deserve something that takes more thought and talent to do.
>pic related, one of the only examples of irezumi mixed with those bands, definitely something you dont see everyday together thats for sure
Are band tattoos okay? I want a gybe light bulb on my shoulder or somewhere.
I am going to be a high-school teacher, so it can't be visible, what are good places for a tat like this? I don't want to put it on my chest, can you give me ideas?
The main difference between an /fa/ tattoo or not is honestly having a /fit/ body. Anything looks good on muscle and everything looks shit on fat.
>pic realted is prime example
my beard is gloriously ginger so fuck you ya mad cunt
at least point out my siick faaades
Looking for a minimal forearm tattoo... opinions on this one?
Was thinking of getting this somewhere, it's an illustration from the first edition of huckleberry finn. Thoughts?
are framed tattoos like this dumb? does weight gain change it much?
Arm tattoo I found on facebook
when you have a physique that can rival a greek god statue then you can literally walk in nothing but a tanktop and random walmart jeans and basic sneakers and look 10x better than the dopest fuccboi in the trillest sick fit
ill never understand why /fa/ is so bent on looking like emasculated cucks
you can be both /fit/ and /fa/ and /sci/ and /lit/ and bacically become the perfect you, you can be.
dont get sucked into just being good or interested in only one thing
in the words of wu-tang "you gotta diversify yo bonds nigga"
So I'm trying to decide on my first tattoo, which is pretty damn hard mind you
I know where I want it, just can't figure out what. Right now the most prominent thing in my mind is a wrist band starting below my wrist and ending 3/4ths up my arm. As for the design, I'm thinking a wristband of tree's and keeping it simple.
I thought I would want something relating to my interest, which is involves anime, video games and tabletop games, but I learned real quick that I'd rather not have something. I was the one that posted >>9764479 this. I was trying to stick to emblems or symbols that seemed somewhat obscure but none of them seemed that good, and now I moved on to the wristband of tree's idea now
I'm pretty insistent on the idea of getting a tattoo but I just can't decide what I want
Go with a place on your body where the tattoo will be hidden most of the time, then when some time passes see if you want to keep getting tatted and go for "edgier" places.
You are indecisive now, meaning you could probably dislike the idea later.
