Thinking about copping these but money is a little low so I need some inspo to feel sure about buying it.
So Nike SFB inspo thread.
(Also if you dont have fits, what kind/colour pants should fit nice with them?)
I only found Shia fits like pic related so I hoped you guys had some more fits/inspos
They weren't available at first because I got redirected to the UK store...
Do they even ship them to Europe then? I mean if they do they might as well have had them up on the EU stores.
You're supposed to match it with the inches of your height for a golden ratio aesthetic so go for 8".
I'm 6'3 so I use 3" boots and a friend of mine is 6'0, he can't really wear any shoes without looking awful.
the NIKE SFB. Where to start?
so i have a pair, some guys from nike came to our base and said hey try these out and tell us what you think, oh and heres a free pair of socks. Wow a free pair of nike socks? deal. So i wore these boots for about 4-6 months and the only good thing i can say about them is that there light. theres no support, theres no protection, were in the army not running a marathon, they fall appart quickly, your effed if you walk more than 2 miles in them. Id rather stick to the boots im issued. cool nikes trying to make an extra buck and help the army, make a boot or gear that we can use not something for looks and a conversation piece.
no, the ones in OPs pic are different... the guy in your photo clearly isnt an operator
Black- low top
Purple- some sort of support for that much needed fortitude while humping
Red- reversed tread for that high speed grip
Blue- reenforced arch for those operator tier rappels
IN SAGE GREEN, NOT DESERT, BUT DESERT WOULD FIT THIS FIT AS WELL
WEAR IT WITH SKINNIES
THINK OF WHAT LORD YEEZUS WEARS, WEAR THAT
>not being able to afford a $130 pair of boots
god it must be awful to be a poor person
love my sfb. sage green with slate twill pants. i'm 6ft 165lbs and wear size 12. also potato camera.
had mine about 8mo, paid $30+tax.
these are actually horrible. I was in the military, and we used to make fun of anyone who wore combat boots (i.e. actual mil issue, not classic styles) with civillian clothes.
Those boots look exactly like real combat boots. If you wear those you will look exactly like a jr. marine soldier or airman trying to look #tuff and show off that he's in the military.
Don't do it.
that's my fucking point. you have reading comprehension that of mayweather
Tons of stuff that used to be ONLY worn by the military are now worn by civilians.
it might be "weird" at first, but sooner or later they will assimilate with society
Hahaha pseudo military faggot.
>Pvt. Anon, have you been blousing your trousers over your boots like a paratrooper?"
Clearly, sir (or madam), you are not a shoe connoisseur. I appreciate we are few and far between, but we all have our unique, and sometimes arbitrary, interests. Perhaps you enjoy the odd bit of train-spotting? Or maybe you are one of those types who plays golf (a ‘sport’ I shall never quite see the appeal of).
But there we go, it is what makes us all such a diverse and interesting people: We all spend far too much time on our own particular quirks/interests/hobbies.
After all, why else would there be such a thing as a Juggling Society? (of which, I must admit, I am a keen enthusiast)
Enjoy the meaningless and nonsense of such simple pleasures I say!
From a fellow life-owner
I believe Nike does sell the same shoes in women's sizes, however your best bet for a military shoe like this would be men's sizes. I currently have some sweet ass 5.11s, but they're only available in men's when I bought them.
Also, if you're cool with taller boots, there either already is or there's about to be a metric fuck ton on craigs list, ebay, and probably amazon because the US Army is changing its uniform really soon. So keep an eye out and you'll be able to get some good deals on lightly used shoes, or a surplus of shoes that stores haven't sold yet.
