I make 4 cups of raw steel cut oats ever morning, add 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, half a banana, 1/4 cup raisins, 1/4 cup walnuts, and a small spoonful of cinnamon. Pour myself a glass of almond milk with cinnamon and flaxseed to go with my oats and there is really nothing that can top it. Best oatmeal ever.

I've lost 45lbs natty but have 25lbs to go and I just want to get it over with so I can actually really start focus on gaining muscle. My friend in college was telling me CLA supplements couldn't hurt but I wasn't sure if she's right, since she doesn't even exercise.
I know cutting carbs and more protein is what I'm doing but I was wondering if there's a way to speed things up

Beginners are never going to get shredded without gear (and that brings its own lot of issues). When you need to build a decent amount of muscle mass AND lose a fair amount of fat, you're not getting to the goal quickly.
