I keep my diet as essentially pristine as possible, mostly out of enjoyment and health benefits, however there is one stain that I've had trouble shaking, and that is salt.
I feel like there might be some genuine addiction for me in this matter. I often try new spices, sauces, hell I even tried lemon juice last night, and to be honest all of these alternatives are indeed tasty.
My issue though they never reach the same level of enjoyment I have with adding salt instead, I feel as if my brain and tastebuds are so accustomed to it that I find it really difficult at...

Will eating at a caloric deficit, lifting every other day, and doing cardio on nonlifting days cause me to lose fat and gain muscle?
hey guise, how the fuck am I supposed to take 330 grams of protein a day wtf without going bankrupt or giving birth to an african.
Why did you start to lift and get /fit/?
>120 lb 5'11 dyel
>date girl for 2 years in hs
>leaves me for chad
>make physical and facial gains while lifting
>she is like a 6
>i have decent face and 10/10 body
Sure I'm not yolked but girls love my body
started lifting at 14
can't really remember why I started lifting
all I remember I was some fresh skelly, recently lost skinnyfat status and entered dangerous bone levels, and the bar was my 1 rep max
never really thought about muscles to please grills until 15 where some senior was being mired by qt Asians and he had 15" arms unflexed
Ask yourself this simple question: "If food companies could engineer their products to be maximally pleasing (addictive) and make you want to eat more, would they do it?"
The obvious answer is "Yes." T
All of the big food conglomerates in America (Nestle, Nabisco, Kraft, Coke, etc.) hire "food engineers" to precisely formulate "food products" so that they light up the pleasure centers of your brain. The ingredients they use also fuck up your natural appetite response... so you overeat.
This is all well-established by research and inside documentation... and yet people still accuse fat people of having moral deficits, like self-control.
Well, when 80-90% of the food in a typical American supermarket - and 100% of fast food - is utter shit that is laced with addictive substances (or formulated to be addictive), then what fucking chance does the average person have? The odds are stacked heavily against us.
In the 1970's you rarely saw fat people in public. Morbidly obese people were incredibly rare. Now fat people are everywhere, and I see morbidly obese people every single day. It's not like the entire U.S. population collectively lost their willpower. That's stupid.
So instead of criticizing fatties all the time, why don't we focus more on criticizing food companies for deliberately poisoning our food supply?
They don't give a shit that they are making people fat and sick... because this model is very profitable to them. We really need to call them out on their practices.
If the public learned to see their food supply as "laced" (doing this will take repitition), then more people will gravitate towards healthy, whole foods.
This would also push food manufacturers to scale back on their bullshit. It would be a win/win for everyone but the companies. It would be easier to find healthy food and stay /fit/. There would be far less fatties to deal with.
Why the fuck aren't we doing this?
This and this. If the companies were controlling us then why can so many people from /fit/ make it after being former fatties? It's will power. Without the caloricly dense food, they would have been skinny fat anyway.

You look fine the way you are. And she thought so, too.
Don't change for other people. It sets you up for disappointment if they don't react the way you expect them to.
Don't expect the relationship will go beyond the fling. One week together and a few phone calls isn't necessarily going to be enough to keep the spark going through April.
run your ass off and eat lean
>no calorie drinks
you can get to twink status by april if you follow this deit and do c210k or similar.
get the fuck up and go for a run, right now
Right now. get up. get the fuck up.
What do you wear when you workout? Pic unrelated
Is this possible in this ammount of time or is he roiding?
World's best CS:GO player. How is he so fucking scrawny? I've noticed that I'm starting to find scrawny people disgusting. Like, it's actually makes me react negatively towards the sight.
No idea how people end up like that. I used to have a tutor that had impossibly thin arms. Like, I wasn't even aware it was physiologically possible to have thin arms like that. Back then I was as inactive as possible physically, but it still grossed me out.
Is Mike Pattan still the king around here?
Anon, all this excessive exercise isn't necessary for you to be healthy.
30 minutes a day walking is all you really need to do to be healthy, Anon, it's good enough.
All this unnecessary excessive exercise is too dangerous, Anon, you're just going get injured.

What about me?
People usually rate me 7+, but i have no luck on dating sites.
I don't understand how body builders look bigger than strongmen, yet are weaker.
How dumb are you? The best strongmen have a lot more muscle, in the neighborhood of 10-20 more pounds of pure muscle, than JM, in addition to a lot more fat.
They also focus on training compound movement specific to their sport, rather than doing pump routines like JM probably does. Strongmen with a high bodyfat percentage have more accessible energy resources than someone who is extremely lean.
Although muscle size and strength are correlated, it is not a perfect 1:1 correlation.
That's why hypertrophy training for bodybuilding aka 8-12 reps and powerlifting (low reps) are different. Strongmen are a similar case.
Performance =/= Size
Although obviously if you get stronger you'll most likely get bigger.
>Carry along with your foolish isolation exercises and restrictive 'clean' dieting. Perhaps women will be drawn to your defined abdominals and rounded shoulders, but I will attract a much more intelligent, perceptive woman who has a taste for a man who can call upon his body to exert lethal amounts of force as one kinetic chain.
