Honest question: How do you keep your cardiovascular system healthy?
If by bulking you're (typically) increasing your sat. fat intake cholesterol, and to some extent, salt, AND in addition to that, cardio kills your gains easily, how do you keep your blood pressure from hitting 130+/70+?
What gets you pumped, /fit/?
Let me ask you about bench-pressing, /fit/
Do you bench-press by yourself?
I used to go to the gym with a mate and we always spotted each other on the bench. I have no problem deadlifting or squatting big weight by myself - it's only with bench that I always fear dropping the fucking thing on me.
Should I just man up or should I ask someone to spot me? Or save the spotting for when it's a lot of weight?
Ask for a spot if you know you are gonna go to failure or if you know you might get to.
I personally prefer to bench press at home in my squat rack with the safety bars than i do at the gym.
It's not like you need to go to failure anyways.
Found a picture on computer. Claims hes vegetarian natty powerlifter. I still can't remember her name. Heard he was the lead guitarist of avenged sevenscoops.
Can someone help me figure out the name?
are you a reverse raper?
What is so special about protein that makes it build muscles? Why can't I just bulk on carbs?
assuming you're being serious, muscle is made out of protein. Protein is essentially a long chain of molecules called amino acids. When your body consumes a protein, it breaks it down into amino acids and then builds the amino acids in order to make the exact kind of protein it needs. Carbohydrates simply don't have what is needed to build muscle.

why would you show somebody who WILL DIE SOON a movie to motivate them over the next few years?
you're just a bad person. I genuinely hope you find a way to forgive yourself, for your own sake.

Winter bulk edition.
Been liftan for about 4 months, critique welcome as idk much about routines.
I did a short 6 month bulk during the summer. Starting early on my cut now; 8 more pounds then I'm maintaining til next winter.

Does dip/pouches negatively effect your run time? And if so, to what extent? as much as smoking?
He seems pretty anxious around those sluts..
how does he seem anxious at all? you guys cherry pick anything and everything under the sun. the only thing that makes him seem semi nervous is when he puts his hands to his hips, but that's 100x better than what most people do which is make weird motions randomly with their hands.
plus it's loud as fuck and he can probably barely hear them.
My physical therapist told me, and I agree with this. Is that going ass to grass on the squat which is an explosive movement will put sheer force on your knee tendons and can hurt them. If you are genetically prone to having not so great tendons squats can be incredibly dangerous to you if you go ATG on them. Thoughts?
