Lat Pull 85lbs 3x12
Bench press 95lbs 1x8 1x10 1x12
Dumbbell curls 22.5 3x12
Dumbbell trap/shoulder shrugs/rolls 40lbs each side 3x15
Leg extensions 50lbs 3x12
Deltoid raise 10kg 3x12
In my mind, gym has always been a way to be better at another sport, not an actual sport in itself (except of course for Oly lifting).
Now, I've only recently learned that there is a legit cult around it, i.e. championships, news sites, even star players like Rich Froning.
What does it have more tha an usual gym? Why does it attract so many people?
Crossfit is mainly an invention by bored first-worlders who feel they have too much time, are too healthy and have too much money.
It's always like that when people live are a little too wealthy and secure, they either try to help the poor to make the world fairer, get fat and lazy to satisfy their gluttony or literally try to kill themselves to "feel alive" or whatever.
Crossfit is the latter.
I am working on being able to do things like pic related or the splits. I usually stretch at least after every workout, but I was wondering if I possibly could speed up the process a little.
How often and strong can I stretch without weakening the muscles too much or even injuring them. Any aditional tips are also appreciated.
Also mobility general
I heard stretching after the workout won't increase your mobility cause the muscles are tight and you will just get them back to original size.
Also foam rolling worked better for me for some reason
/fit/ what's your favorite band/album to listen to when you lift?
deathcore/hardcore always gets me in the mood. i used to enjoy it a lot when i was younger, but only go to a few gigs/listen when working out now.

well, when I am too lazy to cook them I will pop them raw but no thanks usually
Has anybody read about Soylent? It seems like an amazing way to control calorie intake etc. Minus the veganism what do you think the effects would be on gains.

I've been lifting for a while and I noticed certain muscles twitch randomly like my right Tri cep is been twitching randomly all day. Sometimes my quad will just start twitch Idk what's going on. I've never had this problem before.
This is why I lift.
