This is something I've always wondered.
I'm 21 now, so not a kid anymore.
But back in college and highschool, there always was THAT fat guy who liked to use his imposing physique to threaten others.
You know the one I'm talking about.
In my case, there was one in HS who was pretty cool, but always used his physique to menace others and dissuade them from ever criticizing him.
He was 6'4, 330 pounds and played a bit of rugby and handegg.
Now what I'm asking is, is fat strength a myth? Would it have been for someone...

Active fatties will probably have strong legs - I went from 1pl8 to 3pl8 squat in like six months but I weighed like 290lbs the whole time. Cutting down to like 230 now so I'm interested to see how things change as I lose most of this fat.
The "fat strength" secret is that they learn to throw that weight around - you don't need to be all that strong when you've got momentum on your side. If you can avoid letting them use that advantage, they probably don't have much else left to call on in a fight.
I dunno about fat strength, but size strength definitely exists.
Just because someone is fat doesn't mean they're going to be stronger than you, but if they're bigger they've generally got a pretty big advantage.

so the older you get (30+) the harder it is to keep your current pre-30yo gains or is harder to make even more gains on top of your pre-30yo gains.
Are there any "rules" at the gym besides wiping the equipment off after you use it? Like, am I allowed to do sit-ups anywhere in the gym or is there like a special place I'm supposed to go to do those?
I always feel like I'm doing the wrong thing at the gym and that people are judging me.
There is usually a yoga mat somewhere in the gym for crunches / sit ups / push ups etc.
Look for a blue mat and if there isnt one, just ask about it, the staff are there to help you not to judge you.

Doing moderate exercise but diet is the main limiter here I think.

Make your own. It doesn't require obsessive anything, just sit down every sunday and figure out what you're going to eat for the week, then buy that food at the grocery store and Bob's your uncle. Say you want to eat 2000 calories a day, buy 14000 calories worth of food with the right macro and micro nutrient profiles to fit your goals.You can't overeat if you don't buy extra food, and you can't undereat if you finish all the food you bought by the end of the week. Easy peasy.

I realised that to look like a man i need to build a thick, strong, tight neck, and these seem like a pretty good exercise for them.
I don't think this is the best to start because first it is quite hard and you need a perfect technique, we are talking about neck injury here, you can die from it.

I wrestled for 7ish years, start on your hands and knees, then work up to just using your hands and neck for support. In the end you should be able to circle on your head and jump back and forth just balancing on your head.
