fck that guy, first 5 workouts are going to be horrible but once you get used to it, its not scary and its amazing. Just keep going, check out every part of the gym, maybe ask some more experienced people to help you out. My first time at the gym was also bad.
Man, i didnt even touch the bench press for over 3 months because it was right next to all the cardio equipment and the girls. But i eventually did it. keep going

That sounds like either extremely low flexibility or just a shitty form in squat, try goblet squats before moving to barbell. Fit bench if you can only do 45 it's probably better for strength and innervation to just do push ups
Long story short i didn't get much sleep and body was feeling kind of shit today for bench press. I did my warmups and went to go for a decently easy 200x5. I just did three and racked the weight and decided I should try again tomorrow. I plan to eat a lot of food and rest and get a goodnights sleep. My question is had anybody had a day like this and cane back and smashed the weights the next day? My all time best bp is 255x5 so I know it's not something I haven't done before, just don't know whats up with me.
Certainly, we have all been there. Maybe you should take a couple days off. Get focused again.
It happens all the time. Some days you just have a perfect storm of shit and you can't work out at all. Last week I pulled 405 for reps, and yesterday I could barely do 315. Shit just happens sometimes, all you can do is eat and sleep well and try again.
Completely normal. Some days you fuck up, you're tired, you haven't eaten enough, etc. You'd be surprised how much stronger you can be once your rested, hydrated, and have eaten well.
