Is there any real reason for a guy to work glutes into his routine?
ITT we share music suited for lifting for particular exercises.
I'll start, Power Cleans:
What's the hardest abdominal workouts? Leg raises and Russian twists have become way too easy.
I've always noticed that I have a pretty big behind. Like, it really is noticeably big. I'm male so this is a pretty bad thing. Like, it's not abnormally huge or anything, but it's big enough to make me feel uncomfortable walking around in public without wearing a big jacket. I hate the paranoia over people looking at it and thinking I'm deformed or something.
I've also got a stomach so maybe it's fat related; would it just involve exercising the old-fashioned way? Though, I remember having it even when I was thinner in my teens, so I don't know if that would even help. I can't even talk to people about this since they'll think I'm some kind of fag. Hell, googling about it brings up heaps of gay results. Please help, /fit/.
I made a thread in /adv/ about this but I figured it would be a better fit here
Are there any benefits to drinking a protein shake before working out? Or should I just wait until after?
“I don’t believe in bodybuilders using steroids. If a man doesn’t have enough male hormones in his system to create, a nice hard, muscular body, he should take up ping pong.” - Steve Reeves
fictional goal body thread?
I have the hair, I'm 6'4, I'm well on my way to lookin like this, feels good
Why are you so focused on making an impression on your outward appearance? Our physical bodies will soon be nothing after we die and rot into the ground. God judges by the heart, not the appearance. Sure, it feels good to be fit, but we won't have any physical body when we face God.
What about the gods of the Greeks?

Bumping so I can read this over my oats, sausage, and coffee in the morning. /Fit/ plz don't fail me.
>this is what /fit/ actually believes
How exactly do you build a program? It seems impossible to find sources that agree with each other when people talk about fitness. How do you go about making a bodybuilding routine?
>Sticky only recommends programs, doesn't talk about the science behind making one yourself.
What I have in mind right is to work every part of the body, but to divide it into two workouts. So I'd go to the gym in the morning and do abs/lower body, then go in the afternoon and do upper body.
Then I'd alternate the order I do the exercises by push/pull.
Is that too much volume?

Posterboy for /fraud/
All I know is I used to see him out at a certain restaurant here in Indianapolis with ladies that weren't his wife. And I swear half his throwing arm would always be jammed up their asses. Practically making them cum in the darklit corner of the place.
Alright /fit/, show me what you're working with.

What the fuck are "stabilizer muscles"?
Sounds like something made up to justify stupid and dangerous exercises.
There's no "stabilizer muscles". It refers to a context a muscle is used in. For example, ab wheel rollouts use triceps to stabilize the motion, or in other words they are a secondary muscle. In tricper pushdowns, they're the primary muscle, and other muscles like core is used to stabilize.
It just means that the muscle is the primary one being worked or not; which differs based on context.
the same muscle can be either a prime mover or a stabilizer.
generally when people refer to groups of muscles as "stabilizer muscles" they refer to all the musculature that is too small to do any prime moving.
for example, try benching as much with dumbbells as you can with barbell...
the reason you can't bench as much, is because it relies more heavily on stabilizing muscles, and less on your prime movers.
