Hey guys I've been lurking on fit for a couple months now and I just got a gym membership. I've been overweight my whole life and I've started to track my calories. My fitness journey starts Monday and I just wanted to know if any of you guys were overweight before and are now fit. And how do I overcome eating so much? I'm planning on cutting in a couple weeks
Yes, I was. What helped is drinking a lot of water and exercising at the absolute least three days out of the week.
Oh, and I'd recommend you find a cardio activity you like and stick with it. I do biking because I hate running.

I used to have rounded shoulders as well, but I kind off started putting a conscious effort into pulling them back and up into the proper position about a year ago. Now I just do it without thinking and it's actually extremely uncomfortable for my neck to let them go back to their default rolling position so I guess that's good?

What's the difference between this (gold standard) and myprotein whey or isolate ?
I'm currently taking myprotein isolate and some people around me swear the gold standard is a lot better but I haven't found any real study or proof that there's any real difference expect for taste.
I've bought both, and looked at the nutrition info on both. Macros and calories are virtually identical.
Biggest difference is that MyProtein frequently gets massive sales and discounts, whereas Optimum only goes on sale during a BOGO 50% promo at GNC.
Optimum also has better flavors, whereas most MyProtein flavors are ass.

You're not that unhealthy, just eat more calories. You can easily gain a pound or two a week. Bulk on whole milk if you are lactose tolerant master race.
But anyway you really don't need extra fat, just start lifting and eating and you'll gain muscle in the first place. Why be fat for no reason first?
