I live in a warm humid area so after walking around campus all day covered in sweat, a big bowl of ice cream is just amazing. I tried sugar-free options like diet soda and popsicles and shit but those just increase the cravings which cause me to binge on real sugary sweets. Happens on the treadmill mostly, but also with other methods of cardio.
if you are overweight and haven't worked out in a long time your joints are not used to it so take it slow or you are risking permanent injury.
just go on walks or do some fast walking. cycling would be best since it's easy on the joints and has the same effect as cardio. you can even do sprints on a bicycle.
don't run and especially don't do any crazy shit like jumping unless you want to fuck up your joints.
cycling and lifting weights will give you best results.
if you are lifting weights yes due to noob gains.
but as with running take it slow and with low weight then slowly increase it since your joints are not used to it.
put a lot of focus on joint mobility and stretching. do it at least 2x/day.

It is stored in your muscles and partially reabsorbed after it is released. Your body doesn't use 100% of it when you're fatigued in any case.
It's in preworkout because it's a very inexpensive way to bulk up the mix without looking out of place on the ingredients list.
Basically doesn't matter. If you're concerned about having enough, it is better to take ALA to increase its availability rather than upping the dose of creatine (assuming you're at 5-7gm or so per day).

Real recommendation--skip the cardio, lift. You have been bulking for your entire life, gaining muscle under your fat your entire life, and now you are losing it all. Much better to cut while lifting heavy--it keeps your metabolism up and you get a better ending body. Plus it is way easier than cardio.
