>buy kitchen scale
>dropping 5kg of fat within 40 days
>blown away how easy it actually is
the kitchen scale is literally the master key to this shit and i regret all those years wasted i thought i could estimate this.
disagree. Take brown rice for example. Going by volume on the serving size will give you 3x as much rice (and therefore calories) as going by weight. Shit like that throughout the day adds up.
It's the first thing I learned when I went from fat to skinny back in 2012.

Alright im going to the gym in 1 hour and im asking this girl out. We only talked once when i asked her if she was done using the power cage or whatever its called. She gigled like twice, i seen her daily (we only talked that time).
How do i ask her out, what should i say?
girls that you would actually want to date only go to the gym to work out. There ARE girls that go to the gym for attention from men, but they aren't the girls you'd even want to ask on a date. I recommend saying something like this:
"I know you're here to work out, and I don't want to make things uncomfortable because I'm sure you get unwanted advances all the time, but would you like to go on a date some time?"
I'm currently doing Hema fencing and BJJ, and I plan on getting pretty huge eventually. While being fit benefits both of these activities, you can get away with just being a lanky bitch as long as your Technique is good. Are there any sports out there that would fully complement a huge physique? Sort of like pic related but realistic.
I'm just curious, do you really think any of these skills would be useful on the street? You don't have time to put on your ridiculous gi or carry around a sword, and it only takes one pipe bomb to cripple you for life
What is this shit?? Bottom of pic
What is their agenda?
Thank you /fit/
I was a weakling before coming here.
For the past week I have been going to the gym and lifting weights. I feel something in my arms every time I leave the gym. I am addicted and I want my arms and muscles to get bigger .
Is there anything wrong with buying ground chicken instead of breasts/thighs? I never see anyone talk about it.
It's cheap, has similar macros, and maybe this is my preference but I think it's easier to both cook and eat.
pic related is what all of you should be aiming for if you want to attract a woman. Prove me wrong.
Why is my delts so sore after deadlifts?
I've never been this sore in my delts ever before, not from OHP or any other exercise. Did I dun goof?
You're at the gym when a thicc bae asks to work in on your machine. What do you do?
So what's the point of "calories from fat" on nutrition labels? You could just calculate it yourself. Do they add it just to trick people into thinking "low fat = healthy" so they can sell sugar loaded shit?
Because math is hard and people can't manage to multiply an integer by 9 without getting a calculator.
For what it's worth to you it has it's uses, namely getting around the FDA's stupid 'rounding rules', which is why everything is an integer instead of there being a decimal. Divide the 'calories from fat' by 9 and you'll get a more accurate figure for grams of fat total. Of course this is only useful if you're keeping track of macros.
how does it feel to be the 6% in this board?
Is it possible to pull-up with your chest touching the bar without kipping? If so, which exercises would help build up to this?
I'm doing deadlifts, barbell rows and barbell curls. Which other exercises should I be doing to pull-up all the way to the bar?
Why would you even want to do that?
>Which other exercises should I be doing to pull-up
>I'm doing deadlifts, barbell rows and barbell curls.
Maybe do fucking pull-ups, you dumbass?
>Is it possible to pull-up with your chest touching the bar without kipping?
Yes just do the pull up fast so you accelerate and still have speed when you've reached the end of your muscles' range of motion.
What should i do for this neck/chin? Should i cut it?
Is being fat actually just a meme?
What if fat people are actually superhuman and can absorb things they consume in a way us normal people can't?
First time in the gym tomorrow. What should I start with?
is there hope for the not genetically gifted?
or are we doomed to a miserable failure if you're average.
what's the point of getting fit, a high paying job, learning charisma, becoming intelligent if you will be always a second class male to most females.
most women will see you as an ugly non white manlet who is overcompesating.
is not even fair, what's the point then of improving?
Become your personal best, date within your race, develop your hobbies. You can't expect any acceptance when you aren't even motivated for your own sake. You 'do it' because you value yourself and your efforts. That shows to others and so does the lack of it.
>tfw too dumb to lift
>counting calories is too hard
>literally no muscle memory
>always forget form
>keeping track of routine is too difficult
>time is hard

Trying to add accessories to SL.
Find a flaw.

The Chin-Ups 2x15
The Squat 5x5
The Bench 5x5

Lateral Pulldown/Pull up
Deltoid (rear delt, front raise etc, or close grip bench or another bench alt)
Basically just add in front squat every Day 3
for every accessory, I do 6-8 where if you can do 8, do more weight next time. If you cant do 8, do 6.

Do warrior cults still exist like the spartans or the Knights template and if so what would their initiation and training be like as well as their religious view and vows etc
>tfw too spiritual to lift
>not just transfering your consciousness into the most gainful body in the universe
>actually putting your hands on dirty metal
>That feel when want to quit lifting - loosen up on diet and lift 2-3 times a week, take a TRT dose and practice sports like Swimming, rockclimbing, MMA/some sort of martial art, etc.
Anyone know this feel?
I just care so little these days about "GETTIN HUGE BRO", I just want to maintain what I have with a TRT dose and focus on things I find more enjoyable these days.
It's just not fun for me anymore.
I know that feel. I really wanna take up something like Muay Thai and some jujitsu too. Before I do that I really wanna lose some size, gain some strength, and work on my flexibility first. Can't be going into a gym looking like a monster while having shitty strength. I'm 175 right now but wanna hit 170 before I switch. Anyone know a way to gain strength while reducing muscle mass? I'm already at 10-11% body fat and it'll probably be easy to go after muscle instead of the fat.
How do I into Araragi mode?
So tell me /fit/, what is the definition of making it?
Is achieving philosopher mode the true epitome of making it?
