I'm recovering from a wrist injury and will get back into powerlifting, with a background in olympic lifting.
Any advice regarding how to live the /fit/ life in Canada is welcome.
Goodlife is a pretty generic commercial gym but they have decent freeweight equipment at most locations.
No frills is the cheapest place to go for food, loblaws and other PC stores are good to. Everything in vancouvers costs so much money though.

How often do you weigh yourself? Do you notice daily fluctuations?
Yes, I can go up or down 5 pounds a day. That's why I typically weigh myself three days in a row and always after waking up and peeing, then lay off the scale for a week. Usually what I guess is closest to my actual weight is what will come up twice, so I can rule out the other day that is a bit further from the other two as a fluctuation from water retention or something.
