Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying some equipment for home. I've been eyeing a Gold's Gym XRS 20 Olympic Workout Bench and wanted to know if anyone who does at home workouts would recommend it. That or if they have any other at home gym equipment that won't destroy me financially.
pick up a squat rack with safety pins, you can buy them anywhere from 230-1000 so you have options and you can bench safely without a spotter, also enables lots of other exercises.

Hey /fit/ I recently signed up for a gym and one of the things I plan on doing is using their punching bag to supplement my muay thai training. However, the gym requires that shoes be worn in the room with the bag.

Any exercise that activates (uses as part of) your back. Went to the gym for a few months when I was retarded about what I should be doing, did machines the entire duration, made "strength" gains but most importantly my back was 10000x better.
I want to become ridiculously strong while remaining small so I can be a master of calisthenics and be able to move around at high speeds. What would one have to eat to gain strength while not putting on muscle? What types of exercises would you need to do to become this way?
Food bills are not a problem, I am not injured in any way, and I have the required equipment.

Only increased squat by 30. Bench completely stalled. Deadlift increased by 10.
Just run a more well rounded routine. Unless your squat is complete shit compared to everything else. Then it's still probably form.
Only supposed to be run by intermediate/advanced lifters. If I remember right you should be able to squat 3pl8 for reps before running it
I'm running the first two weeks of the Mesocycle, in an attempt to increase my squat by 40 lbs (from 275 to 315) by New Years.
I'm probably going to fail. But fuck, even if it increases my squat only 20 lbs, I'll be happy.
