ok /fit/ i have an issue. I used to gave decent gainz but rowing season has started. Thus the team is erging (using the rowing machine) 6 days a week. I am no longer able to lift because i will be too fatigued for the afternoon rowing session, and this will reflect on my scores for the day's erg test. Essentially the problem is, when im not lifting, im losing gainz and gaining cardio for rowing (which is good). However when i am lifting, i am making nice gainz, but this is not improving my VO2 max like i need to if i want to be sucessful at rowing. Are there any lifts that...

rowing is in the afternoon, also should have mentioned that our coach is super anti lifting. thus if i lift he will see shitty scores and not put me on the best boat

Currently doing 30kg 12x3 DB presses, what does that translate into benching? I remember 1RMing 90kg bench back when I was a newbie, while doing like 22kg 12x3.

Why the fuck do you need a spotter when benching? If you're BB benching correctly you don't need a spotter lel. Also think about your max bench, divide it by two and the two Dumbbells should roughly equal your max ya tard.

Let's say 2 natty mma fighters who have the same recovery ability fighting in the same weight class with pretty much similar height, reach, fighting abilities, and reactions.

One gets a powerlifting belt and starts a strength routine with deadlift, squat, and overhead press.

I've been lifting for about 8 months now, my arms have grown about 1.5inche from 11.5" to 13". It feels like it's taking for them to grow. I do pull/push twice a week so I'm training both bicep and triceps twice a week each. They seem to be taking forever to grow compared to other parts of my body. How can I get them to grow faster?

Been lifting about one and a half months. I was 130 5'10 now I'm 140 5'10 so I've made some progress. Still scrawny as hell but I'm proud of the progress I've made thus far.

I'm new to TRX & I was browsing these 4 / 12 week workout plans.
Each plan tells me to do a "Basic Training" on my first weeks, the problem is that it only lasts about 10 minutes total (including rests).
Is 10 min enough? What's up with this?

Has anyone else delt with this? Its really fucking me up in the head lately. I feel so worthless. When i was in the military, i was so much more confident between my profession and how I was just overall mentally and physically fit. But now it's like a complete reversal. I really want to go see a Therapist, but I can't because of reasons.
I'm hoping some of you have been through this and can give me some advice how to change my mentality. I want to get over this depression and be able to actually improve my physical health. but I just cant shake it.

seriously SSRIs exist for a reason and depression is as much a clinical manifestation than anything else. See your family physician and tell him you're depressed and anorexic and wanted to consult a therapist or get a prescription.
