HOW DO INTO MIKE TYSON MODE?
Is Krav Maga a good martial arts in terms of fitness? I really want to learn another martial art and I want to replace my gym with Krav Maga. I am doing a smart decision?
As the guy advocating Lrav in the last thread this is clearly bait. The answer is that no martial art is better than others for fitness, and it depends on the class. If just for fitness, however...
-Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a rigorous full body workout regardless.
-Kung Fu (Hung Gar, Wing Chun, etc.) when done old-school will develop your legs and do lots of bodyweight excercises and stretching.
-'MMA' is going to be good for fitness because, as you'd quickly find out, 3 rounds of 5 minutes is an eternity and even just a few rounds of 2 will have you shaking...

is eating an ordered pizza ok if you're
Hello /fit/, newb here
I just turned 18, I'm 5'7 weighing 105lbs.
I'm new to fitness, and I need to get bigger. I've read the sticky, but there are a few problems
I don't know what to eat, I'm a picky eater, and I take a whole lot of time to eat
Please help me on how to get fatter
Let's say you've been lifting for 4-5 years. General consensus is that it is much harder to put on muscle mass at this point. My question is, if you're still eating at a 500 kcal surplus, but not gaining muscle at the rate of a beginner, where does that energy from your surplus go?
Also, what do you plan to do if/when you reach the natty limit?
i swear 99% of all you fucking mongol retards on this board should take 30 mins out of your day to watch some easy comprehensive youtube videos to educate yoruself on your own body instead of wasting 100 x the time on shitposting and asking stupid question about your own body
How do I into meditating, /fit/? Do I just sit in there in silence or do I chant? Do I think or do I just clear my mind?
literally new age bullshit endorsed by the same fuckwits who have tried to bring stoicism to the mainstream. hey bro i read socrates and i sit listening to my breath for 30 minutes like a window licker and now all my troubles have gone away
you are literally wasting your time
Has anyone tried the Saiyan Powerbuilding program? Is it any good? What are the lifts?
>martial arts tournament victory x3
>hyperbolic time chamber training session x2
>senzu bean recovery x10-12
>artificial gravity capsule inverted sit ups x100

>defeat enemies x5
bretty tough program, would recommend
"Oddly enough, she could still have a disorder in the second one. There is a disorder in the same group as bulimia and anorexia where one compulsively exercises intensely, and it can actually be bad as well. Good on her for at least seeming to be more healthy, and I hope that she really is healthier."
Anon hows your disorder treating you? Feeling a bit sick?
Hope you are healthy haha!
Wipe the floor with you and all your homosexual bodybuilding heroes. He'd also outwork all of you in cardiovascular endurance.
If diet soda has 0 calories, why does everyone on /fit/ say it will make you fat?
The sweetness might trigger your appetite. Affects gut flora. This is third hand info I'm regurgitating, but I think that's what is commonly said.
Truth is, diet soda can help with cutting if you're a recovering fatty that drank lots of sugar. I made the switch at the beginning of my fit journey and eventually made the full switch to drinking water 99% of the time.
And if I eat out with friends, diet soda is a great subtle choice for maintaining macros without having to be a buzzkill.
No one says it makes you fat. There's nothing in diet soda that will directly convert to fat. What they're saying is that some people will react to the sweeteners in ways that negatively affect their metabolism.
I am a 6' 200 lb out of shape /fat/fag who has decided he wants to join the military. I used to be in very good shape, but a several years of soda, fast food, and depression have completely killed my physical. The staff sergeant says I have to lose 10 lbs to even go to physical, nevermind actually meeting minimum PT requirements.
I've already cut soda and fast food completely out of my life in the past week and am beginning to work towards minimum requirements today (13 minute 1 mile run, 50 push ups / minute, 42 sit-ups / minute). I understand...

Also, I do have every intention of exceeding requirements as much as possible, meaning I will be upping my intensity on these as I meet them. Right now they're just the starting point. I'm mostly looking for other ways to supplement my workout that don't require a trip to a gym.
Can you pass the tape test? To cut weight fast, reduce carbohydrate intake as close to zero as possible. Cut water out before weigh in. If you're close for the tape test I'm sure the recruiter will give you the ol' saran wrap and preparation H treatment.
Hey fit, let's dedicate today's workout to the man whom most of us owe what we are today, the God Himself, let's set a new PR in memory of HIM! RIP ZYZZ!
