how do you get big traps /fit/ ?
What is the general consensus on weed's effect on gains? Every time I see it discussed, it just devolves into a salty fuckfest between dudeweeds and anti-druggies. I personally find weed to be helpful with bulking, but I'm wondering if it is hindering my growth in some way that I'm not seeing.
So what do you think? Does weed have an ill effect? Any info you have, studies, anecdotes and such are very welcome.
there's little physiologically but as a heavy habitual user for years ive finally realized that no matter how functional I can be with weed it still limits my potential and I've missed a lot of good life opportunities because of it
Some people say it hurts your quality of sleep, which would be bad for gains. Some people say they lift while high, I think that's a bad idea because your form would probably suffer. Also I think it's hard to maintain a strict diet on the account of munchies, I've shamefuly eaten whole pizzas at a time because of this. I guess it wouldn't be horrible if your trying to bulk. Also could kill your motivation.
tl;dr probably doesn't directly hurt you but it's gonna make the climb harder
I personally have been smoking small amounts before I lift for the last two years. I never smoke enough that i feel out of it or unfocused but it's always been a big help for me. Lowers muscle inflammation right before you lift and for me helps me really get focused and in my zone

since I started lifting, my confidence has improved quite a lot and everything in life aswell, but now that I drink ~3L of water and have started college again, I've discovered that I have a shy bladder
I jusy can't pee (even though my bladder hurts and is full as fuck) when I'm at a public toilet cubicle (even where there's noone in the room), and because of this I can't drink any water (maybe 200mL max when having breakfast) from 6.40 that I get up until 15.00 when I arrive home, so I have to drink those 3L from 15.00 to 21.00

I'm not quite as bad, but I can be a bit pee shy if there is only urinals and a long line of dudes. Things I've found that help: have earbuds in turned up loud, think of something funny, or think of something fucked up like peeing on someones grave.

I have this same problem. There's nothing more miserable in the gym to me than cardio.
I just had to find some that was bearable for me. I usually do a stationary bike, or rowing. Those ones are just less terrible to me. Sprints help because they break up the monotony of it.
Experiment with different types of cardio. Try jumping rope, rowing, cycling, and other shit. Google around for cardio ideas. There'll be something that you don't hate.

When I do OHP on the way down I get a painful click in my left shoulder. Not a good pain, like a "bitch stop that" type pain.
It's the only exercise I feel any sort of pain on and really want to stop doing it since I don't want to snap my shit up. What else can I do for shoulders?
