Hello /fit/, I am a legal age 18+ adult who's cousin who happens to be turning 14 soon and is about 6'1 and 145 lbs and he wants to know how to improve on his vertical. He has a standing reach of about 7'9 and can get about 3/4 of his middle finger above the rim. He has access to a gym but many people say not to squat or deadlift at his age n sheit. Again I am a fully legal age adult

when I was 5'11" 220lbs I felt like a big guy and I noticed that people respected me more. I've cut down to a little below 200lbs and look much better, but I definitely miss being a big guy.

go lift anyway. a couple of hours away from the books won't kill you. nobody reads for 16+ hours straight anyway, and you'll benefit mentally from the exercise. what I noticed in uni was that the people who never "had time" for anything were usually just shitty students who managed their time terribly.

Yesterday I was at a party and talked with some girls I know. Both are bangable, but nothing happened. I wasn't able to persuade them because frankly I didn't have anything to talk about. I was perfectly content sitting there not talking to anyone actually, yet still pissed I wasn't making any social gains.
