Brehs, it has started already and its not even 1st of January yet...
Mine too, I can't stand the crowds and waiting for the weights so I started going early. Last week I had some shit to do so I went after work around 6. Never again.
Noob question, when do most people quit?
How tall are you? And what's your favourite lift, /fit/?
I'm collecting data and seeing if there are any correlations I can see.
Ignore the pic BTW
does it matter how i get my calories ?
i had a real hunger for croissants today so i ate 7 of them for dinner. 420 gram of butter, sugar and salt. equaling 2000 cals.
it was really easy to down them even though i normally have a hard time getting to 3k cals a day.
is it okay to use these kinds of foods? instead of rice and pasta?
i think i could easily get to 5k cals on this stuff even though 3k with rice is impossible for me.
You almost ate FOUR STICKS OF FUCKING BUTTER FOR DINNER.
is SL 5x5 a meme?
How do you guys look without good lighting? Be honest.
How does the pushing difficulty scales for example while bench pressing? Everybody will admit that 1 plate is easy weight but 2 plates is impressive. I weight 145 and im benching 185. There's this dude who weights 205, he is pretty big but he's struggling with 225 on flat. Does it mean im relatively stronger than him or 2planet bench is something more than just a number and requires special powers? There is literally no one at my gym who benches 225 for reps as his working set and there is a bunch of big guys.
Fuck relative strength, there's only strength. And I'm not sure what kind of gym you go to but everyone reps 2pl8 at mine, and its a normy gym.
> tfw 2pl8 is the standard for actually having lifted in your life, not impressive
nobody cares about relative strength unless you're actually strong as fuck at a very light weight
if you ever even mention about relative strength at your stats people just think you're a faggot trying to justify your shit lifts
Contrary to what /fit/ trolls will say, benching 2 plate for reps is strong. You aren't gonna be blown away but you aren't gonna consider them a slough. Most men will never achieve a 2 plate bench in their lifetime.
Dont really have a before pic. This is about after a year of working out. Made significant progress compared to what i was. Gained about 12 kgs in a year, which i guess is okay?
Currently 74 kgs. Not sure what bf %.
10 months of lifting, only seriously started 3 months ago

Retarded things your gym partner does.
>getting ready to start EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SET
>he's spotting me
>just as I'm about to grab the bar he yawns comically loud
>have to wait for me to fucking yawn as well before continuing
Holy fucking shit.
>8 sets of every muscle we're doing that day
>copies anything new i do as if he's been doing them
>thinks his 2pl8 deadlift max is the shit and yells+flexes every time he hits it
>any exercise, at any station
>slightly outlift me every time
>always pushes more reps than me
>even makes bigger gains than I do
What do I do guys? Do I need a new partner?
>he brings a gallon of water with him to the gym

Oh my Jesus Christ, why do these delusional /fraud/'s even try to claim to be natty?
For the record, I don't have a problem with steroid use, just people who claim to be natty while using.
Entire industry is too deep in the lie.
It's so bad that they claim that people with no ability to build the 'aesthetic' physique only need to go to the gym to look like the 'aesthetic' guys.
It's why guys like piana and boston loyd and zyzz are liked and get their following
they're open and honest about their drug use and talk about that shit and the dangers and positives.
The guys who try to play it up as all awesome and shit are oft called frauds and no better...
