Out of real food edition
I've been benching for months.
I've asked people and my form seems to be okay.
I don't feel it in my chest, i've never felt any strain in my chest during any workout...
What's wrong with me?
Are you benching air? Dumbbells? Barbell? We can't assume anything. I'd say at your size you should be able to be bench pressing at least 135lbs, or 1 pl8 on each side, for about 8- 10 reps.
Is this squat form /fit/ approved?
How to get built like this?
Ok /fit/ I have been deiting for about 3 weeks now and I want to start lifting at the gym. The problem is that I feel extremely intimidated around everybody else. Did anyone else have this problem when they where getting fit for the first time?
>also pic not related
Do you have anybody that could go to the gym with you. Having a friend with you, at least until you get more comfortable, helps big time
I had the exact same issue with gyms initially. My way past it was to go to the gym with my friend.
If that's a problem and you don't know anyone attending your gym, remember that only insecure man-children will care about what you're doing,. As long as you're not doing anything that could hurt you or the people around you, the most interaction you will have with other people is "Do you have many sets left?" or "Do you mind if I work in?"
Almost every gym...

What was the point ?
He died at 22.
I'm going running for the first time in some months and I must have really regressed
Maybe it's because it's summer mid day and I used to run nighttime in the winter but right now I'm just sitting on a bench exhausted and my legs feel worthless and unwilling to carry any weight
Convince me to get off this bench
Oi /fit/, just about one month left to Halloween.
Are you in shape from the summer cut or are you bulking for a fourth year going as Bane?
I'm thinking about going as Krillin from Dragon Ball, I got muscle, pale skin and the height.

Can getting/staying fit help with mental health issues like focus?
I have a nagging voice telling me to get fit. I can't do it for vanity because I would still be fug, and my health is already compromised; its not been the sort of life you can get ecstatic about extending.
But my big problem is my mental condition, which is poor. I have this theory that good mental condition is really the only thing that separates us from any other ape.
I thought maybe I could use my body as a visual metric for mental improvement.
Is there anyone here who wasn't...

Have you ever done any meditation? I sometimes rely on meditational practices like clearing the mind or repeating a mantra to keep me motivated while I'm running. Whether or not you're seeking to get anything out of it spiritually, meditation can be a great mental exercise. Let me know if you're interested and I can find a few things to link you to.
I have a few mental problems as well, and can say it's helped me a ton. For focus specifically, I don't know. But, exercising does help with things such as endorphines and dopamine levels, so it is quite possible. If nothing else, it will make you happier (brain chemistry wise) and feel better (less sick/tired), so it's worth doing.
>You don't eat IIFYM? Idiot.
Hey /fit/. Can any of you explain Ketosis to me? I get that it's low carb but any other details? Also, is it possible for a veggiefag to do it healthily?
its bodies breakin down of fats in the absence of carbs and/or protein
its a horrible diet trend which that the dieters eat more fat instead of burning body fat when they are hungry
How could I not know for so long not....
It all makes sense now...
I can't believe I looked up to him...
Buying new ones for gym. Should not fall off during running. Budget upto USD 300. Should be available in Paajeet land.
Recently got these AKG K92s
Can't vouch for their running stability but the audio quality is another level
Also don't spent 300$ on headphones, you can get ones that are 95% as good for about 100$
They look a bit flimsy. Do they hold in place while running? How is the sound quality?
Had budget of $300 as Bose fits in it. The sound quality is great, but yes 300 is too much, thus asking for suggestions.
>tfw trying to drink your shake
>tfw literally cannot
How do you chug it all in one go?
what did you do this morning /fit/?
>ate toast, butter, and drank a cup of juice
>walked the doggo
>no shampoo has been really helping my dry scalp
>wart cream on my finger and toe
>waiting for everything to dry so I can put some Black Jamaican Castor Oil on my face
>Realized I'm still alive
>Remember I still have no friends
>Remember no one will ever love me
>Fed and watered the parents
>Checked the news: WWIII not happened
>Came to /fit/
I'll go for my bike ride later.
You all should stop lifting, it's masculine and toxic
mtv is all about harnessing the life energy of sheltered socially conscious teenagers by offending them, then using the profits to drive the media machine of mass consumption thereby perpetuating socioeconomic inequality
keep that shit away from me
It's not male culture that's toxic. Seems like the guy is a closeted homosexual and dealing with psychological problems for having to hide it. He should just come out, relax, suck some dicks and be happy.
Am I supposed to watch this whole thing?
Seems like it is written by some dyel who thinks all the excuses that dyel's use for not lifting are reality. ie: People that lift don't read, do arts, science, etc. when really that is stupid. It's just a way for people to feel superior, if they accepted the fact they can be intelligent AND hyooge (and watch ballet, drink wine, or whatever else they want that this video says is wrong) then that upsets them for some reason.
Give me a reason why I shouldn't eat this every single day.
I've read to sticky, but in regards to getting started should I be cutting and then bulking? I'm not fat really (although you fags would probably think so). I'm 6' and 172-176lbs, it fluctuates day to day. Should I be cutting to get rid of fat and then begin bulking?
At that height/weight, you're within a healthy bmi, so you don't need to cut.
I'd say maintain your current calories, swapping some of the fats/carbs you currently eat for protein, and start lifting hard.
When you start to stall on your lifts if a few months, start eating more.
Can I reach pic related with just dumbbells, bench, pull up and dip bar? Been getting mixed answers
I would progressively overload and eat according to sticky.
Can't tell what's meme and what's not anymore
>in the middle of a set
>listening to music
>song comes on that reminds you of her
>middle of a set
>headache from hangover comes back
>drop bar on chest
>Not being in an aesthetics crew
Never going to make it.
is this the natty limit?
Does reaching for things make you taller?
>was 126kg (280 lbs in freedom units)
>down to 102kg (220 lbs)
feels pretty good, but i wanna lose at least 10kg more and put on a lot of muscle to not go full lanklet mode at my goal weight
What is your /fit/ typical breakfast?
Me? A PB toast, a protein shake and my first sip of the day.
