Any of you guys do or take anything to have more energy? I find that I am lethargic often and tend to sleep more than I need, and caffeine doesn't help that much.
More vitamin D? Speed? My diet is pretty good and I lift 3-4 days a week. Not sure why I feel so low energy all the time.
Try some cardio.
You might have a sleep disorder, I also used to be sleepy all the time and it turned out I had narcolepsy. Well I take 'speed' for that so you might as well try it.

Has anyone had Patellar Tendonitis (aka Jumpers Knee)? I've been playing basketball, squatting, dead lifting, and doing plyometrics a lot recently. The pain is right below my knee cap, I'm not sure if I actually have it, I just assuming from what I read online.
my knee only hurts the slightest bit. Anyone else ever have this? How long did it take to heal?
Back in september I got light patellar tendonitis and I just continued squatting 3pl8.
It got really shitty after a while and I couldnt even do bodyweight squats until january
no, it went away by itself.
I just stopped training my legs for 4 months and did the RICE method (Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation) if it hurt really bad some days.
Same thing when I get elbow/shoulder tendonitis. I just let it recover and ice it until it doesnt hurt anymore
You know the best part about protein powder? When you pour it and some of the dust goes into the air and then gets into your nose. Your body then makes better boogers than usual and makes eating them all the more enjoyable.
I've been training for 9 months, doing SS then switching to Texas method after stalling, and other than becoming a bit of a fat fuck I notice my chest is really small, much smaller than I'd like it to be. Should I continue doing Texas and drinking the strength training kool-aid with all these ridiculous olympic lifts or should I move to more more volume in chest, doing sets of 4x12 on bench and more chest exercises? Please help me, I'm depressed over this. No pics because I can't retrieve any right now.
Are calories a measure of tastiness or something?
I can do 18 pull ups, bench 3 plates and I can run one mile in 5:38 minutes. And without good technique I can swim 100 meters in 2:30 minutes. Am I and amateur athlete?
What's your go-to snack or meal that's high in protein? I'm trying to get creative to reach my 180g a day goal without relying on shakes or bars.

I am reading through the paste bin on both Starett's and a few other's tutorials on the power clean.
Other than some drills such as hip cleaning, cleaning light to work on technique, and going from different starting positions, are there things that can be done for drills?
I am jumping fine, but I am not engaging as I should be on the shrug portion, and feel like I could be pulling higher.
Who are the more definitive authorities on power cleans?

Yeah it's mostly a genetic thing, and also has to do with activities during puberty. I doubt you will be able to really look like that, and that's all the advice I can give because I'm a n00b when it comes to lifting.

pro -- everyone's body dismorphia is cured! Steroid producers will be off the black market with quality chemicals that meet safety standards -- better than the current scenario of "pray this chinese batch is okay"
con -- steroids will become a literal necessity in almost all ranks of any sports, and possibly even social life, warfare, and a bunch of other stuff. People will attempt to use them outside of doctor monitoring, misuse will be rampant. Seriously, imagine being 15 and having easy access to it. Who -wouldn't- capitalize on the opportunity?
OP you must mention that health authorities found steroids to be pretty safe, but their advice was ignored due to the USA's desire to be seen as a clean nation in national and international sports.
The practical outcome is athletes still dope and find ways around getting caught, and regular joes are getting locked up for wanting to improve their look.
