This week I helped a friend move some shit. Everything was going well until I tried to carry a 120 lbs bag of rice. since I squat my bodyweight (132 lbs) I thought it would be an easy task but it feels much more heavier.

I'd say an advanced lifter could bench their body weight 3x10 easily, once I was lifting bodyweight 3x5 for bench it was sort of the defining moment where I went from baby weight to actually putting some plates on, to someone at their genetic limit body weight is nothing for a compound lift

I smoke heavily, I drink heavily, I am depressed, lonely, I used to lift but after a year of shit diet and no gym available and no money to make a home gym I lost what gains I had made.

Anonfag, that shit happens to all the gym newbs. It will go away eventually, just got again and work out a different muscle group. Enjoy that "pain",' it goes away and you'll eventually miss it since it feels like you're making progress son

Just push through the pain, it doesn’t hurt as much when you are in the gym.
