What's the optimal wait time between sets?
It depends on your routine, on your goal, on the exercise. Could be 30s, 50s, 70s. Anything more than 70s is not rest time within a the same routine, unless you're doing a circuit. If you wait more than 70s and you're not doing a circuit, you're wasting time and not optimizing gains.
If you're repping close to your max, I would say as long as it takes to no longer be fatigued
If your sets are less than that and you're going for a more volume-intensive workout, I'd say 1.5-3 min, depending on your cardio level
Will 200 push-ups every give me a bigger chest?
What are your guys goals? How long did you lift and how long were you out? How strong were you back then?
My goals are to be as strong as i was. I was the highest bencher in my class in HS and i went to a real big high school (290 was my highest at 16). The only main lift i did was bench until i hurt myself diddly lifting after learning about them via gameFAQS' martial arts board. And that basically ended my diddly lift career until i discovered form from here. I just got back to lifting 215 for five reps on bench and i don't care at all nor am i slightly impressed....

I didn't eat too much so I stalled fairly fast and I fucked around abit.Can't remember all too well my lifts all I remember was I was at 1plaet15kg each side squat 1 plaet and something bench.Sorry my memory is hazy.
Right now my goal is just to be strong and fit cardio wise.
