Hey /fit/, I plan on joining the Armed Forces and would like to excel in there as I plan on making a career out of it. I know how to train, but would like to prepare myself for perfect
fitness scores. I'm thinking either SEALS/SWCC or the Rangers. I make about 500 every two weeks and would like to expand out of my home gym. What are some things I could buy that would potentially prepare me to be tested? I'm 18 btw, so no roids fuck that shit mayne
I have just started my strength and cardio training, I weighed 300 pounds, I've dropped to 185 through dieting cardio, and some calisthenics. I'm moderately fit, and can run long distances, but I'm wondering if there are training programs out there specifically for this sort of thing?

If you truly intend to be T1, bear in mind that selection tests like BUD/S are designed to select more than physical fitness. Obviously be as fit as you possibly get, but don't neglect the mental prep.

hungry skelly reporting in, I run semi-competitively but now I've started doing SS because I want to get /fit/. I still want cardio gains though, what's a good running schedule to have on top of SS to get cardio gains without taking away from strength gains?
At 6'1", I eat about 3400 cal/day lately after starting SS, mostly clean shit like chicken, salmon, broccoli, potatoes, etc
How is it possible that these black beans have only 5g of fiber per 130g (probably less, since the grams include the weight of the fluids), yet 100g of black beans have at least 10g of fiber, if not more, according to USDA measurements? Am I missing something here?

My goal was to learn social skills and not to spend new years eve crying after my family wishes each other happy new year and i go to bed looking at my friends snapchats having fun while i realize how miserable my life is.

Why do you follow this shit? Everyone should constantly have short term and long term goals no matter what day of the year it is. Once you've reached a plateau (accomplished in succeeding a goal), then you look for the next plateau to reach. Go beyond them.

This is my routine. I do it three times a week. I started with SS but felt like I wasn't getting enough out of it. Also didn't want to join t-rex mode. Is there any reason this routine is wrong?

Why do people eat brown rice pasta? It sounds like it tastes like shit. Just fucking eat pasta if you want to eat pasta. The difference in nutrition between pasta and brown rice is so minimal, it's not worth making your meal bland and hard to eat.
