How long does /fit/ let their meal digest before working out?
You lads ever noticed how eating healthier and overall better food puts you in a higher state of mind so to speak? I'm not saying you have more energy or your tummy feels better, wich you do when you eat properly, but I personally almost feel like a better person. I even start feeling disgusted about jerking off, sleeping till noon or eating some shitty potato chips.
Ever experienced that or am I going crazy?
higher standards breh.
I, for one, approve of this.
How can I train to cross the English Channel by swimming? Is 3 years a reasonable amount of time to prep myself?
Any type 1 diabetes bros here? How you fairing lads?
Is gaining easier since we can control our insulin?
Yeah im here. Doing good. Don't think you can match normies on your gains, no matter what we are inferior and get fat easier in case you hit yourself with a shit ton of rapid acting insulin.
Is chewing gum for facial gains just a meme?
I've been chewing Turkish Falim gum maybe every other day for two months now, and I think I can see some changes in definition. Your jaw won't change unless you're really young, but it will strengthen your jaw muscles, which looks nice. Won't help too much of you're fat
It does help but not to much, you won't be arnold from chewing gums all day.
Can you guys advice on a bar (best bang for bucks) for my homegym? Will be used for all kinds of lifts, not really heavy as I only bench press & squat 100Kg, and don't deadlift yet.
In europe look for ATX barbells. I have the bulls bearing bar for oly but I hear the powerlifting bar is great too. Was only $450 in aus compared to $700 for rogue/pendley. ATX is made in europe I think.
*Makes two to three serves*

>low fat dairy above full fat dairy
>eggs below any form of deli meat
Opinion fucking discarded
How many times a week do you hit the gym, /fit/?
Is 3-4 times enough?
please help out couldnt find a better board for this
am i developing gyno (the medical condition) or is it only manboobs (because of the fat)
ive been on finasteride for 2 months and no sign like chest pain or anything but im paranoid when it comes to side effects
i know my body is disgusting but the the amount of fat on my chest considered normal to this fat belly?
My job is a physical labour. Shovel/spade work, mixing concrete, carrying heavy shit sometimes long distances, wheelbarrowing loads, other endurance type work. I am convinced that this "is enough" and don't need to go to the gym. Am I right or wrong?
>i also have protein shakes
>Go hard at the gym yesterday
>Push my hardest and felt dizzy while squatting and over head pressing
>End up doing 7x5 130kg squats
>3x5 60kg OHP (my record and it was extremely hard)
>170kg 2x5 DL
>both arms shaking today like i have Parkinson and feel very fatigued
i'm scared.. are my arms over trained? i've also been doing bicep curls 3 times a week.
rest in peace gains
You went in what's called catabolic damage.
You trained your body to muscle tear and over which means your body is literally destroying muscle in order to repair the tissue
Please can someone that''s not a troll help me. First of all yes I read the sticky a dozen times and for beginners it says it's best to do starting strength. But in every threads you see people calling others retards for doing SS and that it's a bad idea and useless.
I am 6'1" and about 138 lbs and want to gain muscle and have some aesthetic but I just don't know what program to do. Every time I ask in the QTDDTOT I get meme'd with SS + GOMAD.
Do starting strength with accessories
After each session do
5x10 DB flies
5x10 lateral raises
5x10 Triceps (only do these after OHP)
Chin-ups are dog shit for building a wide back. Do dumbbell rows alongside them. 5x10
Starting strength is good for starters. I added some pullups/chinups and dips to it and was fine.
Especially since you are completly auschwitz mode you can even do SS+GOMAD
Don't think curls are needed at any time in any fitness career though.
mfw crippling depression doesn't affect my workout routine
Let me start off by saying that I don't usually come to /fit/, so I have no idea if this particular topic has been discussed, an what is the general opinion about it.
I really hate to cook, and prepare food in general. I have no time, and if I cook it takes away a lot of time. I'm also poor.
Is Soylent (or similar products) a viable option health-wise?
Can I use it as a muscle gain diet, if I add more protein powder?
What is /fit/ general opinion about this kind of nutrition?
Please keep in mind that I'm poor, and have no time to cook. I...

Any hydrolized food is shit for you and your stomach in the long run. Also, Soylent has an incredibly high glycemic index and several vitamin deficiencies, I will make you sick after a few months and probably diabetic in a few years.
What's your post workout look like?
Obviously, we all jack off into our mouths, but what else do you guys usually do?
u mirin? bodies are built in the kitchen not in the gym
does chips count as bulking food?
Is there any point to lifting when you'll always be stuck with a large hideous Adam's apple?
Because this is a women and this is not an adam apple.
Home gym mater race
What do you do when you have a good body but an ugly face?
its amazing that there are threads that bemoan how attractive men dont have to try as hard, but also threads mocking short people. .... its not like being fat, you cant decide to be taller
trying to get mad gains but have to go to school, what are some good snacks i could easily bring pack that'd get be big
one-pack a day smoker. 9-12 beers a day. haven't seen a vagina in a year. last time I chilled with a friend was 9 months ago. Get back from work, sit in front of my computer, drink until I go to sleep. Often order restaurant food when I'm drunk. My tiny appartment is messy as fuck. Haven't been to the gym in 5 months.
That's the old me though. I haven't smoked, drank, eat crappy food in 8 days now. I went back to the gym and cleaned my appartment. I wanna work as much overtime as possible so I can travel, learn a 3rd language in my freetime, and...

What app does /fit/ use to track workouts?
I was using the heavenly simplicity that was SL 5x5's app, but then graduated to a better routine and started using Fitnotes. Its awesome, but I miss walking into the gym, and my phone telling me what it thinks I should lift. Doing Phrak's gslp right now.
So what are some decent, simple workout trackers, brehs?
I've gained some weight over the last year or so, and I haven't been exercising much due to some injury issues. I'm planning on starting some light exercise now, and I'm changing my diet. Tell me what you think. Prefaced by the fact that I'm kind of poor.
I'm 6' tall, 210 pounds, so the minimum maintenance cals for me is about 2400 cals, if I workout regularly it is 3000+. Back when I was in shape I was ~190 and looking to gain weight and it took about 4000 cals/day.
Daily: ~1/3 pound of ground beef, 8 eggs, 2 slices of bread, about 2 oz of cheese. That gets me to about 1600 cals, 110 g of fat and protein and about 45 g carbs. I'm not giving up beer yet, so that'll get me another 400-600 cals and 60-100 g carbs. I won't be strict about this diet, clearly if I'm factoring in for daily beer. I'll eat occasional pizza, ramen, and mac n cheese. Each week I'll try to have a different vegetable, most likely I'll be eating carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and spinach. Maybe a baked potato sometimes. Essentially I'll have no sweets, and other than the occasional pizza/ramen/mac, no processed food.
One of the biggest reasons for this diet for me is the cost. All food included, it should be $30 or less per week. I'll be eating 5 dozen eggs per week, is that too much? 3 lbs of ground beef, one loaf of bread, 1 lb of cheese.
I know it's an odd diet, but I figure some of you can sympathize, and somebody might have some insight here.
>I'll eat occasional pizza, ramen, and mac n cheese
Get out. Never come back.
I should've explained that... I have maybe 6 boxes of mac n cheese and 6-8 packages of ramen on hand, simply because they were free. The pizza, I have 4 coupons for free slices at a local place, plus a couple other discount coupons at the same place.
What is your goal? Do want to lose, gain or maintain your weight? Do you want meal suggestions, is your diet already set in stone, what? You wrote a lot but seen to be missing vital basic information.

Anyone here wear compression clothing to the gym? just got back from the shops and bought me a pair of Adidas tech-fit trousers (Cheap as fuck).
Cant wait to squat in em tomorrow.
If you had to pick only 5 training exercices to do for the rest of your life (and nothing else) what would it be?
>tfw they judge you for cultivating mass
Too much mass can obstruct and limit the capabilities of the biological body of a human, hence why it is looked down upon.
>They keep praising you in an attempt for you to stop
>Watch Zyzz vid.
>No longer depressed.
Does anyone else do this? Just bring him back please..
Q. What's the longest amount of time someone can "reserve" some equipment but not use it before you have the moral authority to steal it?
A. Exactly 11 minutes
