hey /fit/ noob here. I just wanted to know why my curls are lacking.
Ever since I've started lifting about a month ago my deadlifts, squats, and bench have gone up drastically.
but for some reason I can't make any progress on my arms, I'm still stuck curling the 50lb unloaded barbell. It's so embarrassing, when I get done squating I have to unload all the weight, struggle to pop out 10 curls, barely do 8 on the second set, then get stuck at 90 degrees with my arms shaking on the 3rd rep at the last.

What program are you on Anon? You shouldn't really be focusing on BB curls as a noob lifter in my opinion. Do chin ups and pull ups instead.

No. You turn into your own gains goblin when you lose your convictions, and allow yourself to become slack. I had a girlfriend who never asked me to skip the gym once. Actually, we went and worked out together even when we travelled.

How many hours does /fit/ sleep a night? Does it affect your gains?
Since I started working I've had to get up at 6:30 AM every day. It's pretty hard to get more than 8 hours of sleep like this, so I usually get around 7.

It has been proven that plant-based diets are absolutely amazing for our overall health. That is, if we were to eat a diet composed entirely of plant-foods, an herbivore diet, we can survive optimally. Yet, if we were to eat a carnivorous diet, we absolutely could not live optimally.
