Why the fuck do treadmills even exist? Why would you pay for a gym membership to do cardio it's literally the biggest waste of money, just go outside and run in the park or something.
All that money could be spent on weights which are actually useful and have little to no free alternatives.
This is what the Star Wars kid looks like today. Apparently he's some succesfull something-or-other.
To bad he's still fat.
>Tfw cracked hasn't been good in years
fuck david wong
he's not even asian
Don't ride up or sag down if you get ones that fit right, ass looks good in them. Also they help a bit with lactic acid when doing cardio
If you get long ones you look 100% try hard, pretty pricy. They have no effect on performance at all
So I have 22% body fat at 80kg 176cm. Although I don't look obese I wanna get rid of the fat and show some muscles.
Should I follow a fat loss diet like keto or just lower my calorie count and just cut?
>one more rep
I am quite fit but new to serious weight and strength training, as a result I do not have access to a pull up bar of any description for the time being. Could I be informed on a substitute exercise/s for pull ups if effective ones exist?
So I've been on hard mode (no pr0n, no FB/Instagram creeping) for 3 weeks and even though I haven't got the massive confidence boost that everyone is so fond of talking about, I've had many compliments about my voice getting deeper and I've noticed that my hair is shinier and my skin is clearer.
Who's the person who made you start lifting, the person you're going to win back, or the person you're getting sweet revenge on?
Did it work?
Who hurt you so bad /fit/?
I know it's not about mindlessly powering up.
I know I'm doing it wrong.
I don't give a fuck. Super Vegeta was dope as hell.
Why are steroids still illegal, and why are they not allowed in professional sports? Every professional athlete with the exception of maybe soccer players already cycles. Every performer, actor, or celebrity you look up to that is known in at least some respect to be 'big' has done steroids. Should it just be legalized?
How to achieve this body type
Pack Of Beer A Day
5x5 burger curls daily
= Hank Hill Tank Mode
How am I doing guys?
Nice forearms faggot. At least correct the orientation before posting. Neither that or the pump is going to take away the attention from your weak ass chest.
But seriously though. Keep going mang.
Just a heads up.
After this thread >>34515421 I decided to check the SS wikia (that's linked on the /fit/ sticky) and found out that it was very out-of-date and the info there was very confusing.
So I edited the page about the program with info that was actually written by Rippetoe.
If you're doing SS or thinking about starting it, I suggest you take a look at the new improved page.
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I always assumed the back extensions were for health, they made my back and hammer feel good.
Same with curls or chins, doing so much bench and squat fucks my elbows if I don't do any bicep work
Back extensions work your spinal erectors.
But they are already worked really well on Deadlifts, and all lifts that require you to be on your feet as well. They're not needed at all.
Oh, and maybe these will help with the elbow pain: https://www.youtube.com/user/JDCav24/search?query=elbow
Thanks bby. I was honestly surprised at how bad the info on the SS wikia was.
The entire sticky could use some updating.
Didn't work out for a long time, approaching a shitty physique. Currently 171 cm, 132 pounds so my friends all tell me to bulk since that's a really low weight
but I have a lot of body fat... Wat do?
So /fit/ asthmatic here, looking to improve my lung capacity and be able to run more than a quarter mile without practically passing out. Any tips? Also swimming is out of the picture, I don't have the money for a pool membership.
Run holding your breath for as long as possible. Alternatively, you can run back and forth, and then stick your head in a bucket of water or kiddie pool or something, holding your breath for as long as possible. I forget the name of the study, but there is a really good program that scientifically advocates for this, based on some indigenous pearl diving communities in the South Pacific that would do these exercises as kids and hold their breaths for literally 10+ minutes.
Bring your albuterol with you to the park and do sprints until you wheeze, take 2 puffs a minute apart and then walk a few miles.
I used to have croup a lot as a kid and asthma attacks, it got better with age, and I always pushed myself in sports until I couldn't breathe, eventually stopped having attacks around 13, haven't had one in 15 years
Thanks, I'll have to look into and try that.
I've done things similar to that before, and they just end up causing pain in my lungs and ribs and making me dizzy. I think my body gets confused because it doesn't understand how much air it is actually getting. Idk though maybe I should try it again.
how to into bench
when it will be my time for bench day to not be a complete embarrassment
> tfw SS
>tfw skinnyfat long distance runner
>tfw 125 lbs
>tfw lifts aren't improving, bench 95 lbs, squat 105 lbs, OHP 60 lbs, still figuring out DL but its probably under 120
>don't want to eat too much because I think it will make me fat
wtf fit help me
