Any other good /fit/-related movies?
How come my bench press sucks so much /fit/?
My stats (all for 3x5 except deadlifts) are as follows and my bench press is proportionally even more pathetic than my other lifts.
Pendlay row: 70kg
Pull ups: 7kg added
I failed trying to hit 67.5kg for 3x5 last night. I have been trying to improve my technique but surely it can't be holding me back that much?

Not to discourage you but there's lots of sources who already offer premium stealth shipping to Australia but none are very popular.

Just turned 18 and my height is about 5 6 and a half. 3 months ago at the doctors, it was about the same. A year ago I think I was 5 6 1/4 or something. I'm not as bothered by my height as I used to be, but wouldn't mind a few inches of course. The thing is, my height is pretty unusual for my family. My dad's family isn't that tall; he's about 5 8 and a half and so are most of the males. He does have a 5 foot sister, though. My mom's family is pretty tall though. The males are 5 foot- 6foot 2 or so. Mom as well as dad is 5 8 and a half. I think...

I don't want to be that guy anon but height is mainly genetics a good diet helps but ultimately it's your genes that determine your ultimate height. Personally I was always 6'4 once I hit 16 but then the other month I went to the doctor and he told me I grew an inch mind you this is at 20 years old. So its really all variable
That's funny, I'm almost 21 and just measured my height for the first real time with tape measure and it turns out I'm 5'6 as well. Always thought I was 5'8 because I would use other people as a comparison and I was taller than people who said they were 5'7. I can't say I care too much I'm more just shocked that almost everyone I've known or met lies about their height
So I have been working out last spring and lost about 20lbs. I know it's not much but it's something. However lately have been on and off my work out. I'm really going to be committed now. I just wondering how long would it take to achieve this type of body. I was hoping by June or July. This is how I look now.
how much it takes to achieve a body like this?
Why do so few women lift weights? I've been working out for about 5 years at several different co-ed gyms. One thing that I've noticed at all of them is that very few women actually lift weights. There might be one or two who consistently lift, but aside from them I almost never see women in the free weight area. The overwhelming majority only do cardio, which does very little for muscular development. In any case what's up with that? Do women just not want to be strong?
Side thought: I've also noticed that a lot of gym literature and advertising is very...

Is there any actual study that links "eating big" with faster strength and muscle size gains?
What would even be the benefit of eating all those extra carbs and fats in terms of muscle building? Isn't the fact that you're getting fatter proof that you're NOT using any of that shit and it's just getting stored?
Please, no broscience "if u don't eat carbs your muscles are tired" replies.
> on the basis of available data, no further beneficial actions of carbohydrates, irrespective of GI, are evident concerning muscle hypertrophy when a protein supplement that maximally stimulate muscle protein synthesis is ingested
But what do fucking doctors and scientists know that you don't, right?
Ripped chode only recommends GOMAD if you're underweight. Otherwise the point of eating more is that in gaining fat you're becoming stronger. Your don't have to bulk, it's just the optimal
Who /dancing/ here?
Just started taking Salsa lessons, this shit is great
Good cardio and it's really boosting my confidence around women, too.
I had a girl in one of groups in college who danced regularly... she said that essentially it is almost impossible for two dance partners not to hook up after touching each-other all over. If you get into a good dancing group, expect to have a lot of opportunities
Even Justin admits the Texas Method isn't optimal for mass building. If this is true, what is optimal? PPL?
Sure, you kids probably got plenty of power. But how's your speed and stamina? How quickly can you throw out ten punches? What's the max number of full-strength full-speed punches you can deliver to a punching bag before you get exhausted?
Gimme yo fightin stats, you fuckin jabroni
Enjoy missing all your slow as fuck punches and not having the stamina to keep throwing more.
>go to a busy gym in Central London
>always at least 7-10 people in the freeweight area
>I am literally the only person who squats above 110kg
wtf. I am like near the bottom in terms of bench press or OHP - what gives?
/fit/ told me 110kg was meh-tier
falling for the ohp meme..
you shoulders will revolt on you
