Started cut on May 15. Started at about 186, haven't weighed myself recently but probably a little below 165. Been eating less than 2400 cals a day, with 200g of protein. Just now starting to see my abs.

Does anyone else think I need to cut this hard? I'm going back to college and it's going to be tough to cut hard, especially that hard. Thoughts?
Also, would a cheat day be something good to do? For my mental health? Saturday would be perfect, lots of drinking and eating crappy food would keep me motivated to eat well the rest of the week

yeah. i think it's a lot to do with genetics. i havent even started squatting all ive done is bulgarian split squt and the most ive done is 45's for 10 reps and i'd say my legs are an inch or so smaller than his. i'm 6'4 though so it's kind of hard to tell
Probably not genetics so much as a difference in activity. Cyclists have big legs but unless they lift as well, they don't put up great numbers for squats. Slow twitch muscle fibers and all that biz.
yeah. i dont cycle or anything but my legs are probably bigger proportionally because i used to do the leg extension machine a bunch in high school cause i loved that thing. my legs got bigger for sure but obviously didnt do shit for my squats strength as i never did squats. just messed around in gym

I started properly getting into it just over a year ago probably months or so.
Before that I was chubby down to super DEYL too afraid to eat. Went from 188lbs flabby to 154lb now working my way back up.
Fairly wide hips, worked on thickening up my core and filling out my lats as much as possible to try for at least a little v taper, sadly my core definitely thickened up faster. At least I'm not scrawny anymore I suppose.
