Been cutting since early December, don't know if I wasn't strict enough or if getting back into lifting after 2 months of surgery induced hiatus lead to a recomp, either way I'm still the same weight as before. ephedrine is beta, synephrine is alpha.
ephedrine is about 4x stronger than synephrine.
synephrine won't give you the appetite suppression that ephedrine would.
I've never really read into synephrine, but this is what I've run across on this board. broscience or not, I do not know.

Depends on your goal. If you're just trying to lose weight in general, EC is probably better for you. You get the appetite suppression plus it just boosts that calories your body uses doing everything. The Y is more for if you want to lose weight in a certain area (ie: man tits, want to expose your abs).
EC to get the majority of fat off. There have been scientific studies on participants that ran the stack for 4-6 months and fat loss has not declined over time. There's no need to cycle E.
Y should be done around 10-12% bf.
Currently trying to cut the last 40 or so pounds from my teenage perma-bulk (used to be 280 lbs. currently 200), hoping I can do it in time for summer so for the first time in my adult life I can be comfortable being shirtless.

Anyways, question about yohimbine. I know you're supposed to take it fasted because any insulin response basically renders it useless, but how long after taking it/after cardio should I wait to eat? No guides I've read have mentioned any timing in regards to this.

24 year old. Honestly, while I'm optimistic, I feel like there are signs I'll have loose skin around my stomach. My chest/arms/everywhere else looks fine, but around the lower half of my stomach I can feel that it's a lot softer/looser than the rest of my body.
There's still a lot of fat there that I might be able to lose, so it's possible it'll shrink up. Just hope I don't end up having to get surgery to correct it :/ I actually took my weight loss slow (1 lbs. a week max) for the sole purpose of avoiding this.
Also have a fuckton of stretch marks from being fat, which I've heard is a sign that I'm predisposed to having loose skin anyways, but I was still hoping for the best.
Is there anything further I can do that might help or am I just fucked?

not quite. i'm pretty sure the only reason people suggest that it so that stupidly fat people don't hurt themselves. IIRC, dosages over 40mg do some scary shit.
i took it at 200lbs/~25% bf and the only thing i had to do was recalculate the dosage when i lost too much weight(went from 18mg to 15mg).
it's not that it won't work, it's just that it's not going to be as effective.
Most people take Y to work on problem areas. EC doesn't do that, it just burns fat everywhere. If you've got fat everywhere and you're taking Y, your body isn't going to focus all of that loss in the places that Y "targets," it's just going to burn fat from wherever. You'd be better off with a regular fat burner like the EC stack. But the YC stack is better than nothing if you can't get E in your area

i was under the impression that Y's effects wouldn't be as visible on someone that's >12% but it would still do it's job. if anything, it'd cause an overall fat loss rather than fat loss from everywhere else except those target areas. the catecholamines(spellcheck) in your body would have to find other receptors to bind to since they can't bind to the alpha receptors Y already attached itself to.
What should I consider while dieting, BMR or TDEE? I do not trust TDEE, even though I exercise a lot and run, I always pick no-exercise to find the lowest value, then I add the calories i burned during the exercise, because I do not think there is a way that a calculator can know how intense my workout was.
But can someone specifically describe me the key differences between BMR and TDEE? Should I eat according to TDEE, or BMR?
I am mostly eating around 1400-1600 Kcals, sometimes less. 200lb 6'1, 22yo. Cutting til 10% BF, I think I am around 22ish now.
there isn't any really. BMR is the amount of calories you need to live and nothing else. TDEE is the amount of calories you need to live + other stuff. i personally pick the option that says 3-5 days/wk even though i work harder than that.
btw, at 6'1 200lbs there's no way that your TDEE - 500 is that low. i'm cutting at about the same amount and i'm 5'6 174lbs. not saying you can't cut that hard, but just be careful or else you're going to lose muscle mass and make your cut pointless

you might want to learn basic math if you can't count calories. it becomes much easier after that.
seriously though, if you're good at it and you don't suck at math estimating calories works fine. dropping 8% bf is possible in 6 months, but it mostly depends on how strict your diet is. EC stack or yohimbine will help, but it won't make or break it.

just because it's calories in calories out doesn't mean that you can just burn fat indefinitely
at a certain point your body tries to hold on to its fat reserves and starts catabolizing muscle tissue, so there's a soft cap on your ability to change your body composition
It's the same reason women can't get as low as a bf% as men - their fat reserves, particularly around the tits and ass, are more resilient due to their biology

as long as you don't go below that and you're hitting every muscle 1.5-2x/week, you shouldn't lose muscle mass. at 22% bf you can basically go nuts and the only thing you really have to worry about is loose skin/stretch marks; it's the beauty of being a fatass.

yes, you can, the keyword here being CAN. everyone knows fatties can cut at less than TDEE - 500, it's even suggested in the sticky. the problem is most people can't manage that kind of deficit and keep their sanity, but it is possible. as long as you don't forget to recalculate your deficit as you lose weight you'll be fine.
also, you can go even lower than that if you know what you're doing; google PSMF.
depends on if you plan on being >15% bf by summer. if you are, then yeah you're fucked unless you use DNP. you might be able to do it with PSMF and yohimbine, but i've never done PSMF so i wouldn't know how effective it is.
i'd say just start cutting now and take what you can get, which will probably be 20-22% bf

Intermittent fasting helps alot, I don't eat until 2pm and stop at 8. makes it alot easier.
also another thing that helps me is volumetrics. Eat a fuckload of veggies and fruits, you will be full longer on less cals.

Ephedrine gave me vasometer rhinitis. I was taking a much lower dose than recommended as well. Apparently it was a combination of me being slightly prone to it happening, plus not cycling it (everyone says you don't have to, but evidently some people should...).
Basically it fucked with the blood vessels in my nose to the point where they were massive and messing with my breathing, had to get them melted down, and my breathing is still fked which fks with my sleep heavily.
Be careful with it brahs, I was taking a low dose and it happened to me, been seeing a specialist for over a year now and it's still messed up (might be permanent lol).
I take 10mg of yohimbine hcl in the morning before jogging a little over 2 miles on the treadmill but afterwords throughout the day I'm lethargic as fuck is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Your body doesn't want to be this fat, congratulations on tapping into your intuitive sense of hunger, that's a huge problem with overweight people is that they have no idea of what hunger or fullness really mean on an instinctive level. Set cruise control for 15% body fat, it'll just melt off up to that point if you're consistent.
Not the same guy, but why not get some calipers? They cost like $10 at vitamins stores. It's the easiest way besides posting a picture and asking people on /fit/ but that won't be accurate.
