You know the drill, post em.
>4 months, 50 lbs gone
>arm flattery pic
otherwise, nice m8, if you fail and don't make your goal your dick will shrivel up
you have a minimum of 5lbs weight loss per month requirement cunt, if you fail, your dick shrinks an inch every time you fail.
Use that as motivation
Bout a year difference, started lifting seriously back in October.
Well I was originally 220lbs, that pic is of me at 180ish, and I got down as low as 130. I decided that I didn't want to be skelly anymore and now I'm back up to 145 since I started lifting in October
Fucking forgot the picture
> 1.5 years ( ~1 year actual lifting)
> bulkan for summer
How did you lose 50 lbs in 4 months, OP?I need your guidance :(
Ate about 1800 calories a day, typically brown rice, chicken, black beans, and hot sauce with as much vegies as I want.
Made my own routine, 6 days a week.
Monday: Chest and Arms
Wednesday: Back and Shoulders
Repeat next 3 days
Other than that, its just a lot of self control. You've gotta make sure you get into the swing of things, and then you just get addicted to how good you feel. Like honestly, the thing that keeps me going is remembering how shitty I felt when eating terrible food and being fatter
Doesn't even matter. I still wouldn't mess with you. Good job.
from pic 1 to 2 I just ate at various deficits (flexible dieting) and did body weight shit, for about a month and a half after pic 1 I stopped the body weight and became a lot more lenient with the eating.
For the past 2 months I have been actually lifting (doing SS) and was gonna bulk until like the end of march but I already have more fat on me then I want so now I'm just gonna cut down until I'm happy with what I see.
Also tried Keto for like 3 weeks while cutting but didn't see any differences aside from feeling bogged down and not wanting to jerk off at all, next to no libido.
Started at 220ish, slowly down to 185 over the course of a year. I'm looking forward to eating more food and building muscle.
Last pic was about a month ago, just finished a two week cut, now back to bulking for a month then a 6 week summer cut
Take a normal pic of yourself, not flexing and standing at stupid angles like a tard. If you're going to post before and after photos let them atleast be consitant, The angle and amount you flex increases with each photo here.
Ok, this one was a few weeks ago iirc
started bulking after pic 2, only a couple of months between pic 2 and 3
>lighting is great
>go to cable machine near 10ft tall window
>horizontal natural lighting
How much do you weight in the left picture?
How tall are you?
Nice work man, you have a solid frame
wow bro, thats heavy! I just started lifting/cutting 2.5 months ago, I am 6'1 started at 335lb down too 305lbs
Good to see a fellow Obese /fit/izen, we are going to make it...its just a matter of time
I know..I cant wait....Whats you goal weight?
Im not sure if I want to shoot for 215lbs or stay around 250lb bearmode
>picture not me, but inspiration
Anon, I would totally post pics for you if I wasn't about to go to bed and my phone wasn't a piece of shit. I had pretty bad acne on my chest and took accutane for a couple months, cleared it right up but left my chest scarred to hell. Luckily I've got a lot of body hair so it's not too easy to see, but honestly man, don't stress about it. It's not like you could've kept yourself from getting it, and you'll just be best off if you don't worry about it.
I hate to sound like a feminicunt tumbrite shithead, but you gotta own that shit and not give a fuck about what anyone thinks. You have to be comfortable in your own skin.
Man you look like biggest douche of all time.
About a year, but for the last half of the year was fucking around a lot.
Just started a cut.
Fucking hate progress threads where people post pictures of themselves with t-shirts on in the "after" pic.
GEE, NICE FUCKING ARM, YOU MADE A TON OF PROGRESS, BET YOU'RE RIPPED AS FUCK UNDERNEATH TOO M8
Damn dude you're really similar to me as far as size is confirmed. Started at 400, down to 320 right now. Same height too, 5'11.5" king of the manlets.
How low did you get before you started working heavy on the muscle? I'm wanting to go bear mode too.
Also, did you find the weightloss made your beards nicer? I'm hoping less surface area will move the hair off my neck more.
Looks like mediocre progress isn't it?
Lifts have gone up though.
21 180cm 77kg
Anyway, time to cut?
I hurt my shoulder in late july and couldn't lift for about 4 months. My weight shot up to 76kg during that period because I was still eating like on a bulk.
Now I'm losing all my excessive fat before I eat a slight surplus again.
Did I went from close to 30% bf to about 20%?
This. And the pump at the gym makes me look swole as fuck I wish the changing rooms didn't always have people coming in and out so I can take a pic in the mirror without looking like a douche
Hmmmm here's one with angles and lighting the same
>still no difference in looks
and the first pick I took was when I already was at 190lbs
inflamed tendons so no lifting for 6months
lifting since christmas, went up to 197lbs, still not moving the same weight as I did before
mate just do it. if you're looking good just snap the picture we're all at the gym for the same reason guarantee the only ppl that will judge are fedoras and dyel's. when i seee a guy snapping a pic and i'm in the background i'll even make sure to make a mirin face
Don't wear shit like that, you are way to dyel.
Actually makes you look smaller than you are.
From what i can tell by that shitty pic is that you got a nice back and shoulders. Work on your chest and arms. Especially forearms, your left looks like a girls
look up a split that involves an 8-12 rep program. i'm not that anon but while SS got me good results i really enjoy the extra burn of 8-12. great gains, the 12 reps are more like cardio so decent for cutting and that hypertrophy
a split would just be something like
back/biceps, chest/triceps, legs
i've had good experience making my own routine but i know how different lifts hit my body so just find a pre-written one.
also always start with a cut. you'll lose fat but still gain strength. once you can see your abs AND your lifts stop progressing start slowly bulking
>>tfw too ashamed to post a shirtless pic because of rampant body acne
who fucking cares? never understood the insecurity about body acne and i've had it pretty bad. it's like the thing to be least self-conscious about as far as bad skin goes.
looks pretty nice man. i would cut if i were you, had better luck with a thinner body. but would mire pre-cut as well
good call on cutting miring arms and delts
which picture is you friend?
Oh, sorry, I didn't see you attached a pic to your post either. Oh, maybe it's because you didn't. Too bad.
Still, I never criticized your body, just your shit advice, so I don't see how it's even related.
>gives advice without posting a body
>gets mad when someone shits on his advice without posting a body
A bit hypocritical, are we?
Do you really think I'm going to run and take a bathroom selfie now, because you demand it?
You recommended the worst kind of routine (low frequency, high volume) and spilled around some serious broscience.
>12 reps more like cardio, good for cutting
>cutting and that hypertrophy
>good experience making my own routine but I prefer pre-written one
>always start with a cut
>you will lose fat but gain strength
don't know how you got that i'm mad from that
also you think that cutting while gaining strength for a beginner is bro-science? and I didn't say I prefer a pre-written I'm saying he should stick with one until he understands how his body reacts to different lifts so he can later write his own
you don't think you get hypertrophy while cutting? and yeah, you should always start with a cut if you're looking to get aesthetic unless you're an actual dyel skelly which few people are.
anyway with the way you think about fitness it's pretty obvious you don't even lift so it's good you're not giving advice and sending people down the wrong path.
Cutting when you have nothing under the fat is a waste of effort. With 15% you are lean enough not to be bothered, especially when you gain some meat, and your insuline sensitivity is still high.
Second part is not completely wrong. I don't consider benching 1pl8 to be worth calling gains, and you won't go much above that, unless you are a genetic freak.
>Cutting when you have nothing under the fat is a waste of effort. With 15% you are lean enough not to be bothered
depends on goals, this point doesn't matter becaause we just don't agree.
>Second part is not completely wrong. I don't consider benching 1pl8 to be worth calling gains, and you won't go much above that, unless you are a genetic freak.
One plate for 3x12 is not fantastic but certainly above most of the population and yes, you can be cutting as a beginner and lift more than that, it's not unheard of in the slightest and definitely not "some sort of genetic freak". Above 165-185 for 3x12 yeah I'd agree you need to be upping your calories. But until then there's no point.
