Exercises to develop explosive power? Stuff like clapping pushups? I love that exercise!

explosive power can be build with any exercise through doing a set of 80% of your 1RM for something like 3-6 reps. its important that theres a start of the movement where you keep completely still for the muscle your targeting for a full second, then you burst out the explosiveness and get back to starting position.
literally anything. just use decently heavy(read: not high enough to send you to snap city) weights and push as fast as you can. also, jump training.

I really don't want to be that guy who's asking to be spoonfed but if I just want to be the best athlete possible do I just focus on doing compounds explosively that was mentioned with 80% and plyos like box jumps until I reach my explosion goals? Do I add a lot of ab work? Do I ignore plyometric training on legs/arms/chest/etc? I want to get it really specific and clear
