This picture makes the cookies look terrible but they're not bad really. Not aesthetic, but tasty.
Obligatory Anabolic Cooking PDF post
Well, the other traditional way to roast chicken is to stuff huge slabs of butter in between the skin and meat and rub the whole thing down with salt before roasting, but its not a very /fit/ way to do things unless you're on a bulk I guess. Tastes great though.
This is what I've been eating lately. Both tastier and healthier than oats.
>microwave cooking lentils
Come on, /fit/...
read a book faggot.
your blood sugar can't spike without sugar to spike it with.
you're talking about an insulin spike from sweeteners, and it's bullshit.
your pancreas has no clue that your your brain is interpreting the sweetener as sweet. It's a fucking organ that reacts to whatever is processed by your stomach. It literally gives no shits about the tiny level of aspartame or saccharin you're tasting.
damn it's hard to argue with those macros. seems like a good alternative when you need a quick meal but want something savory. spanx.
i'm surprised scoobert has never mentioned something like this
I agree. I love it so much that I've sacrificed everything for it. My good friends became shallow ignorant people (I don't tell them of course, but secretly I believe that). The foods that used to taste good, I now see as unhealthy processed crap that's all part of the grand industrial scheme to make tons of money from mass slaughter of genetically modified animals and production of addictive nutrients while slowly sending people to their death. All the people surrounding me and their petty lives... The person that they are only means as much as their inability to understand even the very things that they put through their month on the daily, and the fact that they'll unconsciously transmit those irrational and unhealthy habits to their offspring. In other words, they are utterly meaningless to me. When you come to truly understand what fitness and being healthy mean, your understanding of the world also changes drastically, and the light that once filled your unknowing mind is replaced by darkness as the reality of the pitiful lives of most people that inhabit this world unfolds before your eyes.
Pour milk on em? I've never really found oats to be bland. They have a really nice, sort of soft flavour that compliments milk really well. Plus if they're in liquid, it's really easy to swallow them without chewing. Makes the meal really fast.
Don't worry, you'll still digest them. unless you're doing steelcut maybe, those might be harder for your stomach to dissolve as-is.
>I dunno, even when they're softened in milk they have this weird, almost dry texture to me.
How do you cook them and what brand do you buy? I eat this stuff. It's rolled oats, flaxseed and bran. They don't taste dry. Add a splash of water, give it a minute in the microwave and they're already goop.
Obviously we're just comparing taste here. It's possible you just don't like oats as much as I do.
I put oats in a bowl, pour milk on top and microwave for 30 second intervals till hot, stirring in between. Use plenty of milk, too.
I just get pic related, I don't see much variety in the brands of oats where I live.
Stevia for sweetness (Love the stuff, my latest /fit/ obsession), a little goes a long way. Some mixed berries half a cup or full cup depending, or just whatever one in particular you like. You can get quite a few for minimal calories like blueberries and strawberries.
I also like to use protein powder, good way to get all muh carbs and protein in for breakfast. Just make sure to mix it in when it's warm rather than really hot, in my experience mixing whey into hot substances or applying heat to it produces an unpleasant spongy texture. Not the good kind of spongy like a cake.
i thought the thumbnail of this thread was of clumps of weed..
Made this yesterday, was delicious as fuck.
>500g lean mince (I used kangaroo)
>400g red kidney beans
>1 brown onion
>1 red capsicum
>3-5 tbsp tomato paste
>Paprika, chilli powder and cumin to taste
Dice and fry the capsicum and onion in extra virgin olive oil until whenever and add mince until browned. Add spices, kidney beans and tomato paste and cook for however much longer you feel like.
Serve in wholemeal tortillas with condiments of choice, I prefer cheese and sour cream myself.
The whole lot + 10 small wholemeal tortillas has:
Eat oats and fruit nigga. Cutting is fucking easy, at least to plan out. You just eat low cal and less food. Bulking is hard, you have to find ways to stuff more macros into your diet within the confines of your appetite. That's why these recipes are here, to help people make their numbers with small portions and easy to prepare recipes.
>Oats and fruit
>On a cut
The fuck? Protein is the most important macro when cutting to preserve whatever muscle you have or are building, depending on noob gains or steady lifting, which you should always be doing.
Oats have protein. That wasn't a guide, incidentally. Who the fuck can live off nothing but oats and fruit?
I'm just saying that /fit/'s "recipes" are all just for packing tons of macros into small portions. Which is totally unnecessary on a cut.
Yeah i suppose, i guess that's just something i have to get used to on a cut, Decent meals just arent gonna happen unless i pack it full of lettuce or something.
Kinda, actually. At least according to the sticky, when eating at a deficit it had the second highest protein intake recommendation.
>Cutting is fucking easy, at least to plan out. You just eat low cal and less food. Bulking is hard, you have to find ways to stuff more macros into your diet within the confines of your appetite
You're ignoring the fact that cutting as a fatass is a whole new world and it's tough to stay at your calorie limit. It's like assuming everyone has perfect willpower.
1.5-2 scoops of vanilla whey
1/2 cup fat free vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
>49g of brotein
>Vanilla and berry flavored
So /fit/ what kind of brotein shake do you drink?
1000 or so cals is my cutting TDEE, i tried going as high as 1400 but even after several weeks i saw no weight loss, just hovering around the same. Added a little more cardio into my routine to try and get a few more macros in here and there, but still focusing on my lifts.
Nah, 5'2. Luckily not legit midget condition, regular proportions, just tiny.
This. I throw rolled oats into a bowl and pour milk on them. Don't even cook em.
That, along with a portion of salmon and a Mediterranean omelet are what I eat for breakfast, pretty much every damn day.
A little pricey but holy hell is it an amazing lean protein. I go to this high end store and buy some roo, elk, and gator about once a month. Breaks up the routine of chicken/tuna/salmon.
Currently cutting as a fatass. 6"2 roughly 250lbs from 300. Active job and gym five times a week with cardio four times. I work night shift so day is all fucked up

Mix all together. Put in a greased baking pan. Cook until solidified. Slice, eat, gains.
just watched those a couple of days ago
i only wish fiber syrup was cheap and commonplace cause that seems like the absolute hardest and most expensive ingredient in making those delicious looking bars..
I tried making a lentil soup. I tried only once.
I'm on a IF diet so when the meals after my training are done I eat a lot. There was like 1kg of soup I think and almost half of it were lentils (the rest was beef and broth).
After I've eaten it I went to the cinema with my gf to watch Sin City 2.
The notion of trying to stop the farts left me after 20 minutes. After 2hrs of constant farting in a crowed cinema (thank god they were silent) I was only too happy to go outside.
Then I got the biggest fucking crunch in my stomach, nearly shat myself and I started getting the sweats and shivers from trying to keep it in. When I finally got to a toilet I spent like 10 minutes continually shitty.
I haven't even looked at lentils since.
Lentils are GOAT you plebeian trash. Lentils plus rice = GAINS, proteions, fibers. Add whatever you want for extra taste. Garlic, curry powder, hot sauce, oregano.
Lentils and rice is the staple food for poorfags all over the world.
Stevia has a really agressive sweet flavour that isn't really sweet.
Like, yeah it's sort of sweet I guess, but it's just very very very very fucking present in every single bite you take. Like, the flavour isn't all that sweet, it's just that it's fucking everywhere and drowns out all other flavours.
Is nobody going to call out this faggot for ingesting cancer cubes? Might just as well feed on McD's as long as you meet your macros.
Lentils and legumes in general require you to "throw the first water" as my people say. Basically fill a pot with tap water, lentils in, when it starts to boil use a strainer to toss away all excess water, put tomato sauce, carrots, spices (bay leafs if you can), salt and water and THEN cook them. With beans you have to do it twice, with onions for stifado three times. Not sure about how long you should leave it in lukewarm water though, I'll ask grandma and reply again in like 4 hrs.
I dunno, for me i find that even a little stevia goes a long way to sweeten something up. I know what you mean about it have a strong presence without much actual sweetness, but i dont have much a problem using a little in whatever i'm making and having it be enough sweetness.
Ayyyy yo fuccbois listen up. I'm about to drop a killer breakfast recipe. It even clutches up for y'all who gotta get up early for work er to make some sweet gains in the AM.
In a mason jar combine;
Fruit (Dried or fresh)
I add chia seeds. You probably can't not if you fucking don't want to. But theses little niggas are cash as fuck.
Toss some sugar because oats taste like wood, i use demerar or whatever its called cane sugar is ight too.
Now close that bitch and toss it in the fridge overnight.
When you're all done dreaming about tossing some yolked dudes poo butter take the jar of godliness out of the fridge and mix in 1 tablespoon of PB&J and there you fucking go. Tastes great, dont know the macros because I just partake in the seafood diet so some autist can count it all out if they please.
So /fit/, how do you make your ezekiel bread?
Do you top it with any nuts or seeds?
>Chocolate pumpkin frosted cookies
>5.5g of protein per cookie
>High in fiber
>Only 39 calories each cookie with frosting
Is this the pinnacle of bro cooking /fit/?
Dude that's just some overnight soaked oats. I make it all the time, not following your recipe of course. Easy to prepare in the evening and eat in the morning. If it makes you feel less like an anus I promise I shall try thine recipe :)
Well my autistic friend I am Italian and I know what mason jars are since my mother is antique collector so we have a few ancient ones from the civil war times around the house. But other europoors might not know about them, or even other Murikans (Except southeners and hipsters). That might explain the lack of enthusiasm
>because I don't have any soft meat.
I mean, it's frozen all of the time, except for when I'm salting fresh meat. When I'm salting fresh meat, there's always oldish frozen meat in the fridge that needs to be eaten first, so
A never ending cycle of freezing and salting.
what to replace the stevia with? cane sugar?
350-500g chopped chicken breast
350-500g sliced sweet potato
big thing of salsa
Dump all ingredients into slow cook. Set on low.
Wake up next day and eat. You can pull from in throughout the day, or put in 2 or 3 times the amount and eat throughout the week while on warm.
Low cal, high protein, and sweet potatoes are good for you. Low fat too.
I cut the recipe in half and still get about 4 small pancakes. Also use one egg and one whites and use fat free cottage cheese.
>mfw I was specifically hoping to see this thread and it's the first one on the first page
Hardly a recipe, but since I've lost my job, this has been my go to meal. Eat it in the morning, full all day.
>Make some oats, plain
>fry some eggs. Over easy is best
>put eggs on oatmeal
>season it. I like pepper and that hot oil shit you get at any Chinese place
>put avocado on top
It was weird having oatmeal be hearty, but it's damn good. Gonna try tossing in some shredded chicken next time.
I'll see if I can find any more that haven't been posted already
500g ground beef
150 low fat kwark or cottage cheese
1/2 chopped onion
Mix everything together and form it to balls. Flatten them with your hand and fry these things in a hot pan. Eat with veggies and freeze the rest.
