>yfw this is what will happen if you actually do SS like it's intended
That's impressive strength wise, but I bet Zach would look like shit like the guy in the OP does now if he were to cut, which everyone wanted to see and know for sure lol
i dont think zach would look that bad. he had a better push/legs ratio anyway.
oh and for the redditor im gonna pull off the genetics card, you can see the outline of his abs but his torso is just fucked.
Yeah the reddit guy was probably pretty unlucky as well. I am 5'11 and 170 lbs, have a Bench 1RM around 180lbs and my chest looks a lot better. Hell, my everything looks better, and leaner. Still nothing impressive but I never had to bulk that hard to get the same mass
Fat guys are stronger compared to lbm
Those are not solid, learn to lift properly. Or at least browse the fucking ss forums and see what kind of lifts people achieve in 3-4 months.
>some guys on an the internet said they benched 3plate within a month
>sounds about right
Want to know how I know you don't lift?
but what if i just follow SS at a ~500 calorie deficit or at a maintenance? personally i thought the volume was a little small for that many calories. i personally used to just skip breakfast cuz i was never hungry, but now that i'm on SS i get so fucking starving at all 3 of my meals and i have snacks in between.
You can fuck right off, you ignorant, superficial child.
The guy gained plenty of strength and definitely some muscle, granted he should probably get some hypertrophy work in for his upper body, but he's doing well, what the fuck are you doing?
Nice hyperbole. Its actually 2plate benches for reps in 4-5 months or so. Learn to lift man and stop browsing places like 4chin and bb.com where people cant into the fucking book.
If you think people come to ss forums to e-stat, youre a sad man.
I did 1/2/3/4 for 3/4/1/2 reps respectively in 7 months and i didnt eat nearly properly
I browse 4chan instead of reddit because it's better
SS is not just the routine. It's a whole book with dietary guidelines. If you're eating at a deficit you're not doing the program and won't be adding weight to your lifts every time which is an essential part of it.
I don't even recommend SS for most people but you got to at least know something about the fuckin' program if you're ostensibly "doing it", breh.
ok well i'm not interested in packing on weight. i started out skinnyfat, and i lost almost 15 lb i don't plan on gaining back.
i've heard you can make gains on a cut, it's just a little slower, and it's proven to be true, my lifts definitely don't excel very quickly.
is there a better program for someone who's still classified as a novice by strstd, but still looking to lose weight and gain mass/strength?
would a split be better? ppl, 5x5, 5/3/1, candito's? anything?
>gets called out for being an e-statter
>posts his e-stats as an argument
I know you won't admit it, but think about your actual totals (assuming you've ever lifted at all) and consider how sad you are
Jesus Christ. What the Fuck? Do you people know anything about weight lifting? THAT IS FUCKING RETARDED DONT EVER DO THAT. He literally went no fucking where and I can tell by looking at him he can't lift that. No muscle what so ever. He wasted 2 years of on that. He could have been pretty built. My God, I read comments on here and it is a fucking but house. Please read the old school books on weight lifting and dieting. Don't make the same mistake as this fucking retard.
This is true because SS is intented for linear progression and you need to eat to recover. That being said, I'm doing SS on a deficit, stalling on 265 squat so the progression is more weekly than daily. But it's working for now and I'm not pissed off for not having a daily progress on weights.
pic was my ss results. when i started off i thought i'd cut at the end, but now i realize that cutting is a fairy tale and that there is only bulk/slower bulk
Lol at all the faggots in this thread insisting that a body weight 1RM is impressive. Christ, like only 2% of this board lifts. At least over on the misc you can see every single user's physique so they have a leg to stand on if they make outrageous claims like you retards.
What's the point on packing on more weight when you're 30+% bf and natty? I doubt that you can add any muscle properly while having so much fat, it's not anabolic at all.
and I'm not specifically talking about your body, just as an example
Misc and reddit both come here to shit post and literally every active thread right now is just trolls, this thread shows that
Trill talk if anyone thinks going to the gym three times a week for two years, which would be going to the gym more than 300 times should end you up with lifts and physique like the plebbit guy then you fucked up tremendously
I am coming more and more to the conclusion that genetics determine the bulk of your success when compared to other people.
Having said that there are things you can do to optimize your training that make ALL the difference. Like being intelligent enough to go by total volume than exercise load regardless of your goals and implementing functional overreach and deloads correctly. Most of the advice on the Internet works because most programs regardless of reasoning accidentally implement correct training principles at least some of the time. Like increasing weight while staying at same rep-set scheme = Increase in total volume.
But still that might make you end up at X while another guy that does some completely retarded shitroutine ends up at X times 10 (to justify why I wrote down my first sentence)
Post body faggots
Sad dyel manlets all over this thread
And no sucking in required ;^)
May I suck on dem titties, Kind Gentlesir?
Does it feel bad knowing that in a month I'll be gynoless, and you'll still be small? 6'1 200lb master race
Post bodies, cmon, you must be huge right :^)

That... makes sense. Good going tripfaggot
>Does it feel bad knowing that in a month I'll be gynoless
No, I'm happy for you.
>Post bodies, cmon, you must be huge right :^)
Why subject myself to your demands? I am a free man.
Please I have been doing SL for 7 months now and my ohp is 135x5, my 1rm is 145 if I keep training like this I'd hit 145 by the end up the 10-12 month, my other lifts are no where near him though, except for maybe bench (235x1) I also weight a shitton less and
>implying you autists had anything to do with that decision
good try though :)
With all the guys ITT benching 300lbs in 6 months, I just assumed some would want to show off their adonis physiques
Probably way better than mine :^) :^)
>With all the guys ITT benching 300lbs in 6 months, I just assumed some would want to show off their adonis physiques

No I think you are objectively speaking bigger than most of /fit/. I don't lift anymore, personally.
How tall are you?
well he obviously bulked way too fucking hard I mean:
>I did gallon-of-milk-a-day, frozen-pizza-a-day, and basically dirty bulked up to 250 pounds.
What the fuck, this was my progress when I did the SS edit from the old sticky, sure it's not amazing but I didn't end looking like that lard beast in rebbit
Started SS at the start of year 9, when I was 14 and 3 months. 5'10, 65kg 10% bodyfat. 8 months later age 14, 5'10 82kg 14% bodyfat, 160kg 3x5 bench 170kg 3x5 deadlift 90kg 3x5 bench, 55kg 3x5 overhead press. Then I did PPL to bring up lagging parts that weren't hit enough with SS, such as biceps, then I did a small cut down to 10% bodyfat. By this time I just turned 15, and was 77kg, 5'10, ripped as fuck.
SS really does work.
>dat stunt growth
>This. If you stop growing at 14 then you've done fucked up.
kill you are selves
I really do not understand how you can have lifts like that and still look like shit. Are strength gains mostly nervous system adaptation? Or are there really different types of muscular hypertrophy which produce such a difference in physique? Genetics could factor into this, but is it possible that this guy is just e-stating hard?
The mistake he made was doing a strength program with a hypertrophy diet
You know those skinny guys who can lift a shitload? That's his LBM. Bulking like that only made him fatter
>Are strength gains mostly nervous system adaptation?
The ESSENCE of strength gains yes. Anything else is correlationary. It's why so many people are confused when it comes to building muscles and the whole "strength = mass" thing that's been circulating..
He's not really. He has wide hips making his stomach look wider while he has VERY narrow shoulders completely destroying any potential of a v-taper. His chest insertions look weak and flabby just like his arms. His thighs look strong but thats the only thing.
His narrow shoulders bring the whole physique down by quite a lot. If his shoulders had a broader bone structure and his waist thinner he would look decent.
there was a guy who made a aesthetics thread a few days ago and he gave this routine out for those who wanted the "movie-star physique"
If you want to get bigger you might want to add deadlifts/squats in there though
The best way to not end up looking like that is by not drink a FUCKING GALLON of milk a day while eating pizzas and burgers, this is why he ended up looking like that, you can blame the routine for his results no matter what you do you will look like shit if you eat like that, even if you use fucking steroids
but it doesn't really explain his complete lack of muscle mass/definition in upper body, does it? his lifts are fairly big so you'd expect more. he obviously was eating enough protein etc
i've seen this mentioned. is there a specific routine for sl/ss with accessories? or do people just choose what they want to focus on?
i've been doing home workouts using shitty dumbbells (one of scooby's routines) for a while to get my base strength up before i start doing a real routine so idk about this shit
>i've seen this mentioned. is there a specific routine for sl/ss with accessories? or do people just choose what they want to focus on?
like 99.9% of /fit/ agrees that Dips and chinups/pullups are a must, besides that you can add one triceps/biceps exercise of your choice because it doesn't fucking matter, I had great results by doing exactly that
this is me btw >>31706134
nice progress brah. i've been lifting regularly for about 4 months now and i've made almost no real gains just because i don't have the ability to increase weight every time i lift, which is why i need a proper routine
how do you fix something like OP has? not squatting is out of the question, no actual reason to make legs smaller.
To what routine do you switch to make upper body bigger?
>If you stop growing at 14 then you've done fucked up.
you look fine but you still havent left humanity behind.
Check dem nips tho...yea.
the only reason I don't squat at least 3 times a week is because my knee is fucked
unless you don't want your legs to grow anymore there is no reason not to squat at least 3 times a week
I read the link you posted
>the guy didn't even do SS
>the guy ate like a fucking pig
>op places blame on SS
>doesn't mention his horrible dietary choices
>instead of slowing down his bulk and switching routine he loses all of his gains by cutting like a retard. No sympathy for this guy.
