pic is some guy from google but im pretty much like that. any exercises for this shit or did i draw the short straw
the only non-surgical method I know is to stretch the muscles in the front of the neck, as there's a chance that the problem isn't 100% caused by bone structure but instead by the front-of-neck muscles overpowering the antagonist muscle groups (not sure exactly which ones) and pulling your jaw back further than it should be
because when you've got shit tier facial aesthetics you obviously want to try to improve it. why do you see fatties on /fit/ lift themselves into shape?
like under the chin? how do you go about stretching it?
>tongue on roof of mouth
i just realized, my lower set of teeth actually rests behind my upper set of teeth making my entire bottom half of my face look underdeveloped. are normal teeth suppose to line up?
They're supposed to more or less line up. You should not have a noticable under/overbite and it can be fixed by simply doing what you described and making sure they're lined up at all times (may feel tension at first).
Actually, a small underbite is natural (and looks good). Not fucking redneck underbites of course.
Overbite is not natural.
>How long to notice improvement?
If you keep doing the other things mike mew suggests, it won't take that long. I don't know how long exactly because I'm not a professional, but for me it took like 6 months until the overbite was significantly reduced and the jaw generally improved.
so left is how it normally is like. right is how im suppose to hold it? still no jaw though.
Daily reminder that this is the average /fit/izens jaw. everything less and you are a jawlet
That's just because you're fat and/or possibly underage.
Now that I see the image though, you might want to head to a dentist or orthodonist or whatever. Someone who will straighten your teeth somehow, you have severe horsebite and it's pretty much impossible to fix your jaw up with teeth that crooked.
jaws have androgen receptors, the growth is actually from how often you lift heavy, how much meat you eat, how much sunlight you get.
if you have a small jaw it's because you're a ramen sipping rice chewing faggot who plays videogames in your dark room all year.
>weak/receding chin from mouth breathing due to allergies as kid
>probably still mouthbreathe in my sleep
>have asymmetrical chin
>braces didn't do anything
just be glad you have a symmetrical face
You press the flat of your tongue at the front of your top jaw, just behind the teeth. Look at your profile in a mirror when you do it and you can see how much force you need to apply to it.
>try to tell my sister that her kids are mouthbreathing
>she says it doesn't matter
>I tell her it leads to weak jaws tooth problems
>she tells me that strong jaws are unattractive anyways and it can't cause tooth problems
Jesus fuck. I've been trying to teach the kids (girl and boy, ages 4 and 5) that breathing out the mouth is bad, but I don't see them enough to make a habit. Plus my sister is too lazy to clean their noses out, so they often actually can't breathe through the nose.
I didn't know the entire tongue was supposed to be pressed flat. I just pressed the tip of my tongue on the roof because I thought the important part was to keep the tongue from resting on the bottom
just how fucking dumb are you
grow some balls and tell her, at worst if you feel more of a loser than usual show her pics like this
It is. Pic looks like a 13 year old next his 25 year old self, but the pics were taken 30 days apart. All from jaw surgery.
>tfw breathe through my mouth 100% of the time
show prove. Everybody i know that has jaws are people who already had them and because of muscle gain they got bigger and jaws were more noticeable. However, people that do not have the jaw, will not simply gain from what i have seen.
So come with evidence of this progress
If I move my face just a tiny insignificant bit to be completely profile view I look like a goddam mouth breather and my nose becomes jew
I fuking hate /fit/ and the insecurities it has brought upon me
doing this for awhile
also isn' it normal for front teeth to be in front of lower a bit? every person is like this, impossible to be lined
I believe my dentist would have said something about it
this guy again, you look fine.
That's normal, yeah. From what I've seen at least.
I make a conscious effort to avoid leaving my bottom teeth behind top, but that's just a personal thing. I keep my lips together and my teeth in line with my tongue on the roof of my mouth. My jaw and chin developed relatively weakly, so I'm doing what I can (chewing gum, fixing facial posture) to mitigate the damage of clenching my jaw so much as a kid and make some jaw gains.
NOT CLENCHING TEETH NO PLS NO NO
This pulls the jaw backward causing a downward slope, narrowing and weakening the jaw and scrunching the teeth together. Almost as bad as mouth breathing.
I've never thought about my jaw much.
It's sticking it out in the picture, so it probably looks stronger than it is.
Couple of questions. (Yes I need to shave)
My bottom teeth when my mouth is closed are behind my top teeth, if clenched the top of my bottom teeth scrape the back of my front two teeth, towards the top of them, If that makes sense.
Is that normal? I never felt like I had a very bad chin or jaw but this thread is making me curious.
I know it's bad but how weak is my chin /fit/
>tfw I need beard
Thanks man. I'm 23 and people always think I'm 17-18. I've noticed the weaker the jaw the younger you look. It's hard to judge yourself accurately
I have a good jaw (think David Beckham) but average cheekbones so I don't get that hollowed-in cheeks look that truly GOAT-tier faces have.
I've been thinking of either getting jaw enhancement surgery to get a Pat Tillman-tier jawline, but coupled with the rest of me that might make me look like a fucking caveman so I think I'll do cheekbone implants instead.
It took me like 3 months. I also chewed a lot of gum while making sure my teeth were lined up. I only had a slight over bite and didnt want rubber bands at 28 years old.
As for you. You are fucked. Try and not worry about it though. Theres more important shit to worry about in life.
that video literally just says to minimize mandibular distance, which is independent of tongue surface area
but Ok, keep listening to youtube videos of jewish orthopodics that make a living off your insecurity and credulousness
How can i make my jaw wider? It looks bad from the side...
>yes, goyim, your jaw problems are all genetic! Now give me your shekels and have me fix everything and not tell you how to fix your facial posture to prevent the problems in the first place.
EVERYONE IN THE THREAD WATCH THIS VIDEO FOR ANSWERS TO ALL OF YOUR TEETH AND JAW QUESTIONS
Caps lock is fun. It's because of soft food and bad facial posture being the norm of modern society.
Chew gum. small pieces quickly for long periods of time.
Push your tongue against the front roof of your mouth, push it forward and upward. It's easy to do this all the time. You can also push your tongue against any hard part of the inside of the mouth, really.
Bros stop worrying so much about your faces please. I see these threads daily and there's far too many anons with low self opinion.
Bros stop worrying so much about your bodies/lifts/muscles please. I see these threads daily and there's far too many anons with low self opinion.
>you're perfect just the way you are bb grrl you don't gotta do nothing to improve hunny
>the way people see you doesn't matter
>it's all in ur heart bro
Faggot fuck I've gotten job offers off my looks alone. I'd be at some fucking community college if it wasn't for my looks. Just because you're ugly forever doesn't mean other people reap the benefits from looking good. Pussy haha
Shitposting this hard on a korean auto parts trading newsgroup.
well, if you want blue eyes and you have them brown, you have to deal with your physique.
You can tell me to use lense but it won't be the same thing as having blue eyes naturally.
You have to deal with the gap you have in your chest, with your height, with the color of your skin (if your black, then no problem, iy you tell me to tan enjoy your cancer if you don't do it with natural way)
What you have to understand is that if you CAN change something, than you HAVE to change it (lifting, and the jaw since mr.mew have give us a great way to do it) if you CAN'T then why bother ?
>yes, i know i'm biting the bait
>eating at restaurant with my gf at the time
>"anon, you know you have a really good jawline."
>tfw no more qt3.14 petitte Latina gf anymore
why even live?
I got those "duckface" lips since my braces got removed. They somehow gave me a overbite and my face looks shorter because my lower jaw is "falling" into my upper jaw.
Can I sue? Only the back 4 teeth align perfectly, the other ones just touch in a angle. Fuck this shit. I had a bigger jaw before I got the braces, I can see it in my old pictures.
I'm 22 in that pic. I look like 15. That's why a always grow a full beard.
Facial development takes quite a bit of time. I hate to break it to you, bro, but it's your facial posture that got you to where you are. The orthodontics merely accelerated the jaw development you were already causing.
A strong jaw is the most aesthetic and manly feature.
Its something people pick up on subconsciously. Weak jaw = weak man.
Look at every actor, politician, model. They all have strong jaws.
nice, how old are you and where are you from?
i am getting surgery because my upper jaw is too narrow and my teeth can't fit in, so they are gonna widen it to make more space :)
surgery is in 1 1/2 months but i'll have to wear braces afterwards for 6--24 months...
sorry, quoted the wrong guy, but for me it took like one year to make it better. just try to hold your jaw in a correct position that's the only thing you can do without surgery
18 living in austria
my lower jaw is moved 3 cm to the left resulting in a terrible crossbite and me looking like ass and surgery will fix it by cutting a part out of the right side
wearing braces right now to get my teeth in place and will have to for another 6-12 months after surgery. kind of sucks but at least the recovery itself won't be as bad since i will just be waiting for my jaw to grow back together which means about 6 weeks of no lifting and pain
really looking forward to it tbh, my jaw is uncomfortable as fuck at times and i will look a lot better (symmetry + a better face width/height ratio since it will be narrower)
Maxillo Mandibular Advancement.
Anything else will not work.
>clenching your jaw muscles
Just stop this shit already and get the surgery. It's covered by insurance if your jaws causes you to have sleep apnea, which it probably does.
How fucked am I? I've had girls call me ugly in bars and im still a virgin at 25.
All joking aside, you should get this surgery if you care about your life and career.
>more sexual value
>no more sleep apnea, so lower chance of stroke/heart attack
Just do it already. It's 3 months of pain for a lifetime of a better life.
The jaws usually stop growing in females around the ages of 16-17. For males usually 18-21. This is only a guide and not always true. Every individual is different. You can determine when growth stops with serial cephalometric films or even hand / wrist films to see if the growth plates are gone.
Just posted this in /soc/ but whatever.
I have an overbite but my teeth aren't clenched in this pic so it looks better. My overbite is really only apparent when I'm eating because I never clench my teeth together otherwise. I get called attractive despite this. Still think I suck though.
Can I fix that? How bad is it?
I had braces when I was 13ish, didn't work out that well.
Got braces again at the age of 22, including advansync device, worked wonders. My uncle had jaw surgery, looks unnatural and creepy now. My jawline looks mostly normal now
