over time i've noticed that there are certain areas in my back that tighten up over time and certain patterns apear. certain ways/muscles/directions/clusters that tense and tighten up to form knots. find a good massage therapist/myofacial release specialist to help with these issues.
in terms of curing, it's very difficult but there is something called the "schroth method" that was developed in the late 1800's/early 1900's that has some really solid evidence behind it but there aren't many practitioners. try and find one, go to them regularly if you can, they can straighten your curve out a lot
