>having any anti-virus software other than glorious Microsoft Security Essentials master race
Seriously, why does anyone pay for anti-virus software these days?
Some corporations find it easier to maintain other software. Other than that...
>having any anti-virus software
what is your primary linux distro, and why?
(secondary linux distro doesnt matter)
> µBlock -> uBlock.
>In case you wonder: yes, I've decided to drop the µ in favor of u, because I have seen too much arguing about how it should be pronounced, etc.
Congrats, /g/. Are you happy now?
Let me see your technolo/g/y books, nignogs.
>inb4 hurr Python sux durr.
Physical ones. I also have the gentoomans library.
Macbooks literally are Facebook machines. Utterly useless for any other tasks. Terrible with video production, awful for 3D modelling and rendering, okay ish for graphics (but can't do anything that other laptops can't), shit for gaming. All it does is look good and work quietly. But do any 'heavier' task and it will start overheating like a bitch.

Overheats and renders slowly, similar to heavier video editing. I bought it like a year ago thinking that I'll finally be able to do all of these tasks on the go and I still have to do everything on my PC. All I ever do on this piece of shit is browse the internet. And use illustrator sometimes, Photoshop lags too lmao
What file manager are you using, /g/?
Explorer is not a valid answer.
/g/, tell me a reason not to get one of these along with 16GB of ECC RAM and use it to build a FreeNAS/ZFS home server. They're on Amazon for 240 yurodollars, and the 16GB of ECC RAM would cost me 150 bucks on top.
In comparison, a motherboard (excluding processor!) with the C226 chipset (needed for ECC RAM) already costs 180 euros, and one with a pre-installed quad core atom C2550 is 300.

Post the best phone you've ever owned pre smartphones.

I still have it, working fine, but I needed to be able to monitor my mails on the road, so I had to leave it in a drawer.

This glorious little thing. Used it for everything, all the way up to gameboy emulation.
