whats the most ergonomic chair to sit in for long periods of time?
pic related, steve job's chair, can anyone identify?
Recently got myself pic related. How fucked am I?
Are you me?
I ordered the same keyboard about three days ago, is it loud?
General impressions overall?
Can X and a reasonable video player run on 64MB of RAM and a MIPS32 200MHz CPU (embedded board) ? The board has composite video out, USBx3, 10/100 LAN, SD Card reader etc. Currently on it is Linux 2.6 and some proprietary shitty TV recording software.
lookin for a tab to see some manga (never read any b4) and also use it to watch movies. i want 4:3 and latest android (not necessarily N, as it isn't out yet)
THIS ISN'T FAIR THIS SHIT JUST ISN'T FAIR.
AMD KEEPS RELEASING STUPID CRAP NOBODY CARES ABOUT INFERIOR IN DRIVERS AND TECHNOLOGY AND POWER AND THEIR STOCK JUST KEEPS GROWING
HOW IS THIS FAIR TO REAL COMPANIES THAT RELEASE GOOD PRODUCTS BUT BARELY GROW?!
What is the best compression tool there is? 7zip? Peazip?
What went wrong?
Best manga readers on F-droid?
Hey /g/uys really quick question, my pc parts are coming in a couple of hours and i bought an online code for Win 10 but where do i find an actual file to make a bootable Usb, Thanks
>bought an online code for Win 10
shit is still free for a few days retard.
get this tool and it will download the iso from micro$oft: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209
Lets say nVidia adds proper async, DX12 and Vulkan in Volta next year and gains free 20%+ more performance just as AMD (and still cant beat nVidia).
What then? Will AMD finally go bankrupt?
What's /g/ opninion on the tpp?
Anyone who supports it should be shot.

How do we fix /g/?
>plan on building a cheap-ish AMD build
>gotta be small ass possible because cute as fuck
>prefer to go with APU igpu's on this one
>search for fm2+ mitx boards with with m.2 support
>search for other boards
>there are a few am3+ boards that support that
>am3+ mitx boards almost nonexistant
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
nothing new http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/10/googles-iron-grip-on-android-controlling-open-source-by-any-means-necessary/
there is still hope, ubuntu phone and tizen are stronger than ever
>Hardware failure for AMD is astronomically high when compared to rival competitors
>Failure is driven by poor design and inefficient delivery
Why are they allowed to constantly get away with this?
I mean, just look at it. Judging a book by its cover is not always wrong.
you have 10 seconds to delete this
this is your final warning
So I was watching Stranger Things and there was this thing on screen. What is dat? Looks like a closet.
There are at least 8 GPU threads currently on /g/, and that's the ones with the word GPU. There are at least another 5 with general GPU shitposting and Nvidia/AMD shills BTFO.
When the fuck are mods gonna enforce a GPU general on /g/ so this shit can be put under control?
Fuck's sake. Yes, I know this is another GPU thread, but PLEASE do something about it after you delete this thread and b& me.
>Another buttmad AMDrone trying to get mods censor the truth
How does one make these devices not terrible to write on?
You gotta use a good keyboard next time.
Google keyboard is good.
by how much can I expect my k/d ratio to increase if i upgrade from Nvidia GTX Titan X to Gigabyte GTX 1080 Extreme Gaming
>display driver crashing constantly
>windows now telling me random programs don't have access to GPU
>games running like absolute trash after driver "recovers"
So did my meme card die /g/?
Did you overclock it? I had the same problem To everytime i overclock it. Drivers always crashed. And After it recovered, it always ran in a limp mode where the clock speed won't even pass 700Mhz. I read somewhere it probably have something To do with not enough power
Name one flaw.

What's a good CPU to go with a 1060 SLI build? I'm looking to build a 1060 PC that I can upgrade with another 1060 in about a year or so, and I don't wanna have to upgrade the CPU too by then to avoid bottlenecking.
How do I buy laptop with at least 2k resolution, ssd and decent CPU+GPU, when your salary is $400 ?
I am working for Logitech as a technical support representative.
Ask me ask me anything...
>I am bored @ the job
>Pic not related
>no glorious OS X thread
I am disappoint /g/
Is this the unix desktop thread
no GAMES useless operation systems
i'll stick to windows thank you
what android web browser do you use /g/? i was using chrome, but just like it's desktop counterpart - it drinks your battery up like juice, so I switched to lightning, is there anything better?
I want to build a desktop but I'm a poorfag. I figured I'd just buy one piece at a time until I have enough for assembly. What order should I start buying? I'm thinking I should start with parts that don't upgrade often like case and psu. Then probably ram. Of course after that I'd have to have a better idea of whats comming next. Gpu would probably be last on the list. Does this sound about right?
You should save up until you can afford it all at the same time. But I'm guessing you've probably heard that before and decided you want to buy piecemeal anyway. You can buy the GPU last if you really want and just run on integrated graphics until then.
How long are you planning to wait between buying parts?
i'm guessing this is what you're talking about
Is the Eizo Foris worth the moola? Any owners?
Eizo is a great display maker with top-notch QA, but why freesync? AMD doesn't even have a GPU that can push 1440p at 144hz, unless you're playing cs:go or assfaggots. I'd personally go for the Asus variant of the same panel.
I have one, and I love it. Got mine day 1, pre-ordered it.
It's more of a CPU than a GPU issue. I got an 5820K OCed and a 290X, and the CPU is my bottleneck almost all the time. DX12/Vulcan should fix that, though.
