What is the current new hotness among hipster web frameworks? I currently use Rails professionally, but being aware that I'm working for hipster business logic processing stuff means that it's going to get replaced with some other nonsense in the near future.
So what is it? AngularJS? Ember?
What p2p program does /g/ use? I'm using deluge right now but torrents are beginning to randomly stop while downloading.
Is this the best SSD?
Pc build thread?
Can someone help me finish this build? My budget is around 900 dollars.
Pic related is the case i'm considering
>$100 on a case
Here's what you need for that build: the cheapest Z97 motherboard from your favorite brand, Corsair 200R or 300R, and Corsair CS450M or CS550M.
Also, change the RAM to DDR3-1600. There's no point in buying more than the default.
That is quite an expensive case.
You could always buy a cheapish motherboard, a cheap case, and then use the saved money to bump your video card up a tier.
new thread faggots

b-but I was making one!
Whatever happened to the hype on /g/ for Elementary OS?
they decided to name it Freya instead of ISIS.
Also, Deepin is nicer looking.
I been using Freya 0.3 Beta for a few months now. Still get hyped about the daily updates.
Gonna buy this gem (best for my price limit)
Dell Latitude E7440
Processor: Intel Core i5 (4de Gen) 4300U / 1.9 GHz / 3 MB Cache
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
SSD: 128GB SSD
Display: 14" 1366 x 768 / HD
Graphic card: Intel HD Graphics 4400
Let me know what you think, if I should use this as a replacement for desktop (only a light gamer: dota, LoL, etc.)
What's /g/'s opinion on the increasing amount of technology in cars?
>giant touchscreen in the dash
>smaller screens instead of analog gauges on some models
>proximity keys with no real key blade
>some cars even come with 4G LTE hotspots standard now
>integrated telematics to report vehicle problems to the manufacturer
>now many manufacturers working on smartphone integration

Help!! Which one should i get the Yamaha HS7 or 5, or the KRK Rokit 5 or 6 G3?
+ what size do you thing would be best for a small room?
I mostly just wanted advice on the size of the speaker, idk if i should get the 5 Inch or the 6,5 Inch, my room is kinda small but still...
Would love some Info.
Both are complete shit if you're doing anything with sound production. & you generally want small sizes for smaller rooms.
So if it's for music then save your money for something that will actually be worth it. At least something with a flatter frequency response.
Otherwise your wasting your money.
What player does /g/ use for music?
Is it technologically possible for Aliens to travel to Earth?
Aliens as in micro-organisms hitching a ride on comets? Yes, it is possible.
Aliens as in sentient beings on a distant planet on the other side of the galaxy first discovering us and then travelling here? No.
How the hell could anyone answer this.
It's technically possible, but it'd take a very, very long time. The problem is that it'd take so long that it'd be only chance if it arrives at the same time there's humans on the planet.
"Look at that Highscore I just got at Candy Crush Saga!"
i don't think this is going to work out guys
"Alright guys, think we have something discuss regarding our product. Would everyone please gather around here? Oh, and Schlomo, would you please stop stealing the vegan dumplings Shaniqua made from the fridge?"
>not a police state

I've got half a dozen X201T's, X220T's and an X230T. I prefer the new keyboard. Feel is equal. I don't use the missing 7th row of keys.
I love the backlight on the X230T keyboard. I love having the "Delete" key isolated at upper right.
I converted from the X220T to the X230T in August, 2012. I've been a ThinkPad user since 1995.
Hmm, seems Christmas came a bit early this year.
