The Personal Computer is dead. There is nothing personal about it anymore.
They are no longer your personal machine.
You share all your data and personal info with Microsoft (Windows 10) or NSA (backdoors), or 3rd parties (Lenovo spyware). In addition, there are people who rely on cloud storage instead of personal storage (because cloud is the new "in" revolutionary thing), so the computer is more like an intermediary service station rather than a personal computer.
What your guys think?

Reminder to dump all Apple stock now that 65% of their revenue is dead.
A lot of people I know (which maybe doesn't say a lot but I'm sure this is true for others as well) bought their iPhones "on-sale." Many providers near me do sales on iPhones constantly when you do a contract with an iPhone (so sub 200 pricing). I actually took advantage of one where I think I payed $50 for an iPhone when renewing my contract and ended up unlocking and selling it for full price and then buying a Nexus 6.
>he hasn't dropped apple stock yet
you're too late
>being invested in this market at all right now
unless you're shorting or having fun with some inverse ETFs, you're fucking dumb
>still no news about the 960ti
How do they justify this?
ITT: 00s tech nostalgia (2000-2005/6ish only, anything after that was Bieber iPhone Facebook shit)
>tfw its 2016 and you still cant build a rig as cool looking as that imac.
first laptop I ever saw thought it was a some alien tech
Got this lil shit today. Boot speeds great. Shutdown near instant. Progs load as if minimized. Using my chinkt420 is way better.
Pretty good meme I'd say. Don't understand everyones problem with these.
Screen on time thread.
Post yours, hate on other's.
Suck on my 1715mAh battery
Would it be possible to purge and replace all GNU components from Linux and free the OS from the grasps of Stallman and his cult of freetards?
>inb4 Stallman drones get butthurt
Linux is about freedom and the ability to change any part of your OS. You have no right to complain about my question here.
No OC thread?
New to OCing and pic related is best I could do before instability. How do I go further? Can I?
How do I into voltage?
Actually I sometimes get this mad peak in power consumption that crashes the vidya I'm running to test OC (TW3). Should I tone it down?
this is what I'm working with
>not using Deepin Linux
explain yourselves 2bh
Does windows 10 has an activation tool yet?
I've tried all the main shit ones but they all start using like insane amount of cpu power if I leave them on for a few hours. No apparent reason really. I just want a recommendation of a non bloated barebones browser with regular updates and an adblocker.
Web browsers are shit by definition. The cuntfest the major browser vendors do is only a minor aspect of this.
Get used to it and embrace native clients like native mail clients and native office software.
>He built a computer to play video games
>What an nerd he must be such a loser
So, is the Prime95 issue deal-breaker ?
>Intel has identified an issue that potentially affects the 6th Gen Intel® Core™ family of products. This issue only occurs under certain complex workload conditions, like those that may be encountered when running applications like Prime95. In those cases, the processor may hang or cause unpredictable system behavior. Intel has identified and released a fix and is working with external business partners to get the fix deployed through BIOS.
Is it over? Is Intel finished? Should I wait for Zen ? So many questions, but only one answer. No.
