Help, I have 300$ or less to spend on a smartphone, i want it to run all basic applications very quickly, no games. Good enough camera quality to take pictures of text on a screen or writing on paper, and enough ram to run Clover, Kik, and a couple other apps without lagging.
Whats my cheapest option?
I'm honestly at a loss, and I want the people on /g/ to make my decisions for me
In your opinion, what is the best torrent client?
what is the next piece of exciting technology coming out in the next 2 years or so? outside of zen and vr
What is your favourite browser and why, /g/?
Are there any other good minimalistic cases for around $100 other than the Fractal Design R5 or Thermaltake Suppressor F51?
I'd get the F51 in a heartbeat if it was offered in white. Also, fine mesh filters are a huge plus and R5 doesn't have one for the top.
If you want that strict box/refridgerator look then stick with a Fractal case.
If you want just a little bit of flair, get a Lian Li.
If you want a lot of flair, but not completely riced out, get a low to mid end Corsair.
Is there a reason not to use H265 and VP9 over their predecessors other than compatibility?
What are your expectations in Tech for 2016?
Here are mine.
Man your battle stations, comrades
Now all I need is a coiled and sleeved usb cable.
Finally some good reason to make use of all the electronics equipment I have laying around.
Recommendations for a budget smart watch?
Would appreciate any suggestions bros.
dear /g/ Im a poor black kid from shitty Argentina. because our goverment is retarded I have to pay the price of an iPhone for a Moto G. but because we are retarded enough, we still can buy shitty chinese phones at regular price. So, should I get an Asus ZenPhone 2 or a Lenovo K3 note? any other suggestions?
> truly yours /g/, a white argentinean kid
Forgot to say that my father has a k3 note and while it's ok, quality wise, the meizu phone feels way better, the downside wit meizu is that the phone has a locked bootloader, compared to the lemon.
> In 2015 Apple grabbed a 94 percent share of the world's global smartphone profits, sold the only profitable tablets and smartwatch, increased its Mac unit sales,, launched a successful NFC payment platform, took a huge slice of the music streaming market and introduced a new platform for the living room. How can it possibly beat that performance in 2016?
>Apple's competitors have continually failed and 2016 shall be no different.
> Apple is essentially the Professor stranded on Gilligan's Island, except that rather than being the intelligent problem solver for a bunch of goofy half-wits stuck on an island, Apple is competing against them in the global market for electronics.
Is he right?
Of course. Apple knows what customers want and gives it to them at a fair price.
Other companies try to beat us on price but fail to realize Apple's success is from the premium quality of its products.
I'll start I guess
