Why do iPhone/iPad users keep taking shit from Apple?
>I think it’s different. Part of the reason Microsoft ran into an issue was that they didn’t want to walk away from legacy stuff.
>Apple has always had the discipline to make the bold decision to walk away. We walked away from the floppy disk when that was popular with many users. Instead of doing things in the more traditional way of diversifying and minimizing risk, we took out the optical drive, which some people loved. We changed our connector, even...

Has working at Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, became a meme? I remember when everyone dreamed to work at one of these companies, yet nowadays I rarely meet anyone who is actually interested in them.

I'm getting a weird adapkdownload.info adware popping up when I start my computer but malwarebytes isn't finding anything, any ideas?
Just installed a freshly wall mounted 40" LED tv in my bedroom. Currently deciding whether to purchase a Roku streaming stick or Amazon Fire Stick. They both seem nearly identical, and currently the Roku is selling for the same price, so that isn't a factor.
Not sure if I'm putting a cable box up there, but I believe I can use my cable subscription for both to receive certain on demand channels.
Anyone own either? Preferences on interface, wifi connection issues/range? Any and all advice will be appreciated /g/entoomen.
I have the Roku box 3 it works great I use it for Netflix HBO GO in my bedroom got a nice little remote ton of channels even a free porn tube one(nowhereporn) if that's what you're interested in I live in a three story house router in the basement Roku box on 3rd floor no connectivity issues always works like it's supposed to no experience with the Amazon product use it every night no issues.

What does /g/ think of LinkedIn?
Is it just Facebook for business?
I received an "I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn" email (i.e., friend request), and my first thought was, "Oh, X is looking for a new job, and plans to leave the company."
Also, get a load of the fine print at the bottom of the email: because my friend referred me, LinkedIn assumes the right to use my email address now.
Garbage. Sad to think such a shitty site could potentially prevent someone from landing a life changing opportunity just because they didn't have an account at that rusty shithole.
HELP! Can't find a PC chassis/case for my new toy
To people with rooted devices why did you root, and what apps do you use
Anyone here have IS degrees?
How far did it get you?
how can i count the number of tweet that include a certain keyword during a specific period of time.
example: i wanna know how many tweets had the word "faggot" in them from 12/1/2015 to 12/30/2015
Not really, unless you either
a) pay someone else to do it for you, or
b) take a manual tally of each tweet that contains your specified keyword, which is more or less impossible/ beyond tedious
I'd suggest looking into some general programming tutorials - there's really no excuse nowadays for not knowing some form or function of code, you're doing yourself more harm than good otherwise.
