Hey, /g/. Basically, I want to join anonymous, and become a hacktavist. I've done a lot of research and find myself agreeing on many subjects. I have kali linux and a lot of free time. How can I get started?
This morning my alarm clock didn't ring due to my iPhone & Stained Macbook Pro Retina batteries being completely empty.
As if being late wasn't causing enough trouble in my life; while trouble shooting the problem Apple crapware tried to kill me.
So how is your day going /g/ ?
Here from another angle.
Two metal pins sticking out of a 240 volt power socket = enough to kill you.
So I have just installed arch. I am unsure as to what DE I should use though... I am neutral to GNOME 3, I think Xfce is a little plain and I have a beefy enough system to where performance is not an issue, I love KDE, but can't use it because of the god awful ibus support. LXDE looks nice, but I would rather use Xfce. And Cinnamon is just meh... (Plus terrible compatibility with non-mint distros in my experience...)
Also, what are your must have settings/tweaks/applications?
Thinking about grabbing a Asus Strix 980 ti and for monitor either
besides brandfagging really hard and buying into "gaming monitors" good idea?
Just buy this when it comes out
>It took Linus Torvalds 4 FUCKING HOURS to build his new PC
>Chinese workers can put a computer together in less than 30 mins
What the fuck?
it takes about 3 days to assemble a car in a factory, i guess linus should be able to match that also?
or build a house in a month?
maybe if he was being paid to do it for 23 hours a day 7 days a week and threatened with sepaku if he didn't meet the 30 minute target he would have managed it to your satisfaction.
>He calls himself Software Engineer
>He calls himself SE despite not doing an Engineering or Software Course
Engineering software is not a true engineering field, buddy. I hate to break it to you but listening to a clients needs, requirements and limitations, using conventions and providing a team of code monkeys with those tools is NOT something you need a degree to have competence in.
Coding and design conventions that the real world uses can be found in any Ivor Horton programming book these days. All of the skills and large scale projects can be read about in a week or less and can be practically applied in that same time.
You programmers need to stop thinking you're...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
you're an idiot. CS isn't about programming it's about the theory of computing in its entirety. just because you only did a bachelors because you wanted a job and couldn't handle graduate school doesn't mean you can project like an autist. it's pathetic.
Who else fell for the "net neutrality" meme?
It's just another example of over reaching government. We DO NOT need ENFORCED "net neutrality" - what we need is COMPETITION within the private sector. To increase competition we need less barrier to entry which entails less regulations and restrictions on startups. If we continue to let special interest groups create barriers for small businesses via the state then we will continue to have poor service! Regulation is bad for consumers.
Do you remember when they made a selling point out of 'other os' function and then removed it with a system update. They do deserve to die for false advertisement. Now they manufacture a phone with 4k display that is not really 4k all the time, it turns on only in gallery. Not to mention how shit their vaio laptops were. Sony is kil and they struggle to understand why
My Z3 lasts 4 days easily. Enough said.
How does facebook sort people on the right chat list
There is a girl on the top of this list but we have never spoken
Normally my gf is on top but when she goes offline this girl takes her place
if I install gentoo will I be able to meet my waifu on the WIRED?
well you might as well give it a try
>Pascal set to be x10 more powerful than Maxwell
That's bullshit isn't it?
I fell for the sony meme and bought a z5 compact; it's pretty bad. It feels blocky and is weird to hold and the sd810 is indeed a fucking house fire. There's a fucking obnoxious red led that flashes when the battery reaches 15% and there's a faint crackle in my earbuds. Someone recommend me a new phone please, €400 is the most I'm willing to spend, it can't be over 5" and has to have an sd slot
The led is your notification light and you can turn the low battery warning part of it off in settings, and it feels blocky because you can have large and thin or small and fat to fit the battery capacity needed in
also where can I find this, best I got was PIC related :/
3D waifus edition
>no rice tier mechanical keyboard.
>no $200+ glorified rubberdome (yeah, they feel good but its a luxury produced like a macbook is a luxury fancy laptop : its pretty and in metal but 8yo thinkpads have the same processing power for 1/10 of the price)
>Robust and sturdy.
Its a shame dell don't make them anymore...
Those Dell keyboards are fucking horrible, I had to use them throughout high school and college. There are far better rubber dome and scissor switch keyboards that aren't expensive.
it's not rice, just a normal mech keyboard.
I like the one I used to have. I broke it due to clumsiness and I am now using a more recent version of the quietkey. I don't enjoy it as much.
