THIS THING DOESNT DO SHIT.
I bought this thinking it would improve the sound coming from my headphones. It did jack shit. I tried it with Bose QuietComfort 15, Sony MDR-1RBT (Wired) and a pair of Sennheiser HD598s. I'm glad that I can send it back.
Is this just pure snake oil or am I doing something wrong?
Made this thread yesterday nobody gave any good advice.
ill ask again is dual psu worth it
For what purpose? Massive SLI / Xfire or RAID array set up? Its nice to have for redundancy but unless you need more connections, a single PSU with ample wattage is fine. Beyond 1000w go for any 80+ platinum.
WTF how come most jobs that are cyber security related ask for unix experience? are the windows and apples shills are shilling really hard and shit on unix?
If you care about security in your organization you won't make the mistake of running everything on wangblows, it's also a way to weed out the regular IT jackoffs who learned by working at a helldesk.
Yeah I do systems under a contract for a gov agency and because they need to have windows servers for whatever reason we are constantly doing security patches for them while we don't touch the linux servers too much.
I'm applying for an entry-level electronics technician job.
I'd essentially be fixing broken iPhones.
How much compensation should I ask for?
>company is small, 2 people
>live in small flyover city
>0 professional experience
What torrent client do you use, /g/uys? Why do you use it?
I personally use qBittorrent because I have never had any problems with it and prefer to use Free (Libre) Software wherever possible.
What are your thoughts on this child monitoring box Disney created? Is it necessary?
Makes me realize how fortunate I am to not be a kid of this generation. New parenting styles are terrible.
This shit looks huge.
Is it just me or are Macs generally shitty for actual desktop usage?
I love my rMBP and OS X when just using it "portable". The trackpad gestures are very straight forward and the unix integration helpful.
But when hooking the MBP up to a big monitor with a proper mouse and keyboard it becomes stupidly unusable because so many aspects seem to rely on the trackpad.
>can't zoom with ctrl + zoom or ctrl + mousewheel (huge dealbreaker)
>can't properly organize windows without Windows XP style dragging and dropping or 3rd party software (that's no problem in portable because mostly you'll just use a single window fullscreen and different spaces)
>suddenly realize that cmd+tab will NOT tab through windows but just through programs (which leaves you to manually access these windows using the mouse)
>the bigger the screen, performance becomes generally more choppy, though that's probably due to the shitty Intel Graphics I reckon
anyone else feel the same way? I would like to only have one machine for everything, but so far I'm not convinved a macbook and OS X can replace my Desktop computer, and that's not even due to vidya gaems.
C and Unix edition
What do you think about my networked, public-key encrypted Hello World in Go?
Took a few hours since I had never done anything in Go before
i'm gonna be interning at Apple in Cupertino this summer. AMA.
Do internet connections usually look peaky like this? it will say 2.7mbps then 40kbps then 0 kbps then 2.7mbps again
over and over. Although the specific numbers might differ.
I was running
>multiple ssh sessions
I killed them all and now my network is quiet.
It's the botnet, OP.
Well I'm actively downloading, or watching youtube, or playing a game. So there is supposed to be traffic. I was wondering if it is normal for it to be spikes instead of a constant line?
Why are the Indian and Russian space programmes and Space X so much better than NASA?
I need help explaining to a friend that the 4690k is a better choice than the FX-4350. Argue for either one, as long as valid points are being made
>inb4 someone makes fun of me for not activating windows
but anon the 4350 has bigger, better litography and is more 37 wats more powerfull, more watts = more power . also it has moar cache , l1 data is least important thats why its so small, you can buy more ram for this anyway
Damn, /g/, Google's gone and bought Songza!
>music streaming is technology
>songza offered unlimited streaming w/o audio ads
>only fucking decent free music service without audio ads
>had a concierge which offered up human-curated playlists depending on several factors such as day, time, current events
Owning music vs. online streaming?
Now that Songza's gone, has anyone found another free service without audio ads?
