When is Firefox going to put TOR into the private browsing mode?
When will this widescreen meme end and we go back to 4:3 screens?
what would you do with a $3000 Beowulf cluster on a chip?
> 72 Airmont (Atom) cores with four threads per core
Let's see how smart /g/ is.
You have to guess what obscure electronic I have posted, and then post your own.
If you guess an electronic, you win 1 point.
If you post an electronic no one guesses, you win 1 point. The electronic device has to be from a major brand, old, and/or influential in one way or another. I'll post the winner once thread dies. Oh, and you can't google it.
I'll begin with the attached image. What is it?
HP Stream, Chromebooks, etc.
Do/would you use them? Why or why not?
What are they good for, absolutely nothing?
So I just got my server parts for building my first server. So let's build a server!
Supermicro 16-bay chassis, 920w redundant PSU
Intel Xeon e5-1620 V3
4x 8GB Intel DDR4-2133
8x 4TB WD Red
2x Plextor MLC SSDs
2x LSI 9211-8i HBAs
Post your servers and what you use them for. If you have any suggestions for me, I'm all ears. I'll sit down and build this guy now.
Around $3000. I just finished unpacking and getting everything sorted out and installing the motherboard. Now the CPU and heatstink!
Are video editors actually using macs or only """video editors"""?
Some of them are. Adobe software, namely Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop run on both systems and so are all relevant plugins. Windows has more efficient transcoding software availbale but is arguably too difficult to use for special snowflake millenial "creative service personell". I worked in this area and I'd say it largely depends on the company and what type of ecosystem they invested in. Smaller studios usually use windows.
video editing on macs is a meme for retards using garbage like imovie or final cut for youtube-tier videos
anyone that's editing video and isn't actually braindead either uses vegas pro or premiere pro, both of which work perfectly well on windows
the i5 6600k? or the i7 4790k?
Are you stupid or are you retarded?
These are your choices.
I just received this in my mail today. I was not expecting any packages, especially from what I'm racistly assuming is China. It's about the size of a credit card and feels as heavy as a battery, but maybe not so big.
My instinct is to call the FBI after I post about it on /g/
You got it, chief.
It contained a small bar of gold.
So what is the best GPU/GPU if I want to emulate stuff?
Can I get away with an AMD CPU?
Both Cost around $1100 to upgrade
Why is the benefit lower compared to almost a decade ago
If only AMD can compete so the jews stop gimping their products.
What the fuck are you talking about? AMD products are fine.
Here's their "shit" aud150 processor outperforming an aud270 Intel i5.
>AMD can't compete
>AMD is shit
This meme needs to end.

Best in-ear headphones for under $15?
Panasonic... something. I have two here, but they don't have the number on them. Just google it and you'll find a ton of info.
They're something like $6 on Amazon, and they're BY FAR the best cheap-ass headphones I've ever used. My point of reference is my current daily Sony MDR-V6, my Etymotic earbuds, and NHT 2.5i speakers.
They're not perfect, but they're SOOOO much better than all the other cheap shit I've tried.
Was this the biggest technological mistake society has ever made?
