I wanna unlock my phone, and websites ask for payment to send me the unlock code.
Anyone here know how exactly they get those codes? Is there any way to do it myself? It feels stupid to pay somebody to google my phone's model number or whatever and email it to me.
What webcam do you have, /g/?
What do you use it for?
Thinking of getting the Logitech C270.
I want a cheap webcam and I don't really care that much about the quality being the absolute best.
This one, a Tandberg Precision USB. Bought NIB from a bankrupt company selling it's inventory. It's the best cam I've ever used.
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??
/storage/external_SD/ in lollipop
/storage/E2513-422/ in marshmallow
WHICH IDIOT THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD FUCKING IDEA?
I am building my own computer and almost all the parts are here, and I want to know what browser has the best add-ons and runs the fastest. (multiprocessing and multithreading) Feel free to fight in the thread, I just want a clear answer of what is best. Edge, Opera, Firefox, Chrome.
Good PC build for gaming?
After all the hype I finally ordered a new astromech droid from the jawas. I should've paid more attention to the specs as it won't fit into the standard astromech socket on my starship. Is anyone else pissed that this is the first astromech in a thousand years that is not backwards compatible? Why the fuck do they think this droid is so good that it justifies buying an entirely new ship?
Are there any small (credit card size roughly), flexible screens that are cheap on the market?
>tfw donated money to Greenshot, Classic Start Menu, FastStone Image Viewer, and FreeFileSync
You get donor privileges such as professional license and donor versions without ads and such
What PMP do you use, /g/? I have a rockboxed Clip Zip, but it doesn't make it through an 8 hour shift at work and I need a music player that can play music for 8-10 hours straight and micro SD support. I'd just use my phone, but it's an M7 and the battery drains insanely fast if I do anything on it.
No traps edition

What are you working on, /g/?
>A vulnerability in Grub2 has been found. Versions from 1.98 (December, 2009) to 2.02 (December, 2015) are affected
6 fucking years for a simple vulnerability in the main linux bootloader
m-muh open source code is audited guys, I s-swear
>m-muh open source code is audited guys, I s-swear
Literally nobody said open source was immune to bugs or every bug was found. But be happy we can search the source code ourselves rather than relying on a small group of people who have access to the source code to find it or even patch it at all.
Could you please fix the pile of shit that is 4chan so Google can fetch images from 4chan for reverse image-searching again?
That'd be swell.
Works fine for me :)
Just because your browser is trash doesn't mean that something is broken.

How does one make sure to order the correct memory, if even the manufactures have wrong product pictures and no description of their products?
The case is that I have a notebook with Intel HM55 chipset, which can only take 256Mx8bit memories.
Ordered some memory which turned out to be a 512Mx8bit memory. Had no chance to know beforehand.
It's quite astonishing that something as crucial as that is not somehow denoted.
crucial (micron) is pretty gud, and they're so beyond the point of needing to shill (just look at how many companies rebrand their shit), that paying neckbeards to post on image boards would be akin to burning money
