The super-xbr from mpv looks like shit. Why it doesn't on madvr?
Haasn doesn't want to credit madshi for interpolation algorithm. Why?
Why not implement super-res since source code is available in the mpdn repository?
SuperRes is fucking good and more accessible for low graphic card than nnedi3.
I'm trying to watch a movie now, but the god damn audio is either inaudible or way to fuckin' loud. I'm watching straight from bluray rips, so there's no problem with the audio stream itself.
The only way around this is to use "af=drc" so-far, but I hear that Dynamic Range Compression fucks with the audio a bit, so is there a good alternative?
Mobile app ideas anyone?
i'll keep this short.
why does my CPU fan speed rise when i turn my case fans off ?
i overclocked it a bit so i'm doing some tests(stresstest)
case fans on: ~3700rpm @ 79-80C
case fans off: ~6000rpm @ 76-77C
...Because you're not moving air through your case, which means heat isn't carried away as effectively from your CPU. Fan controller senses the temperature increase at your CPU and commands the CPU fan to spin faster to compensate.
This shit is not hard, dude. Just think about it for a minute.
Give me one reason that a 2560p is not better than a X220.
>Steve Wozniak invented the Apple computer
>Steve Jobs just marketed Wozniak's success
>everyone remembers Steve Jobs as the greatest innovator
>barely anyone knows of Wozniak
Why is this allowed?
I'm working on an email client that's focused on ease of use, security, privacy and all that other fun stuff. I'm quite close to completion however I have yet to decide on a critical factor of the whole thing:
a name and logo
what does /g/ recommend?
Is there any reason at all to get Intel CPU instead of AMD?
You want a system that will just work and do basic shit for cheap? Get AMD
You want a system for productivity and gaming? Get Intel
Thinking about getting one of these two BUT I've read bad reviews of both.
Anyone here have one?
Does it overheat or is it buggy?
>/g/ Name a better 500$ range tablet
>Pro tip you can't
Touchwiz a shit
Google has no tablets
Micro$oft is 600+ shekels
Teclast x98 Air 3G
literally the same screen as the ipad air and runs both android and windows
The last one's over 300. How about we contribute while insulting everyone's shit by recommending something slightly less shitty. I'll start. I have a shitty setup.
That's it, I've had enough. Fuck this cuck browser, I'm switching to Chrome. Firefox being good is a meme.
Ok then, show us a screenshot of chrome with the same tabs. And lets compare ram AND CPU performance.
Water got into this and I have no fucking idea how. How do i fix it / minimise damage? I have a silica gel packet if that is any help
Which one is better?
>only real linux users can use it
>blazing fast package manager
Arch is supperior in every concievable way.
And I take offense that plebian is stapled on top of Arch Linux in that image.
debian is old and terrible for desktop
centos for server makes debian irrelevant
debian testing is unstable playground for developers
debian should die out and only be remembered as grandfather of ubuntu distros
which brings us to the question, why ancient debian, or unstable debian when you got xubuntu, lubuntu, ubuntu-mate, kubuntu,.. with LTS versions as well
and I think most people do agree that they are pretty damn stable, while having packages from this century, unlike debian
Anyway, that was just a thought in the same weight category, Arch is the best destkop linux bar none
>tfw it has been 3 days since i've stopped using windows and started using ubuntu
>tfw im not regretting and it feels great
Although i would like something more easy to customize and a bit lighter, which distro would you recommend?.
Looking online, it says Windows 10 only uses 11 GB. Why the fuck do I only have 4 free? (Installed like 2 programs that may take a 1 GB max). I'd like at least 10 free, how do I free up that much space?
