Bottoming out and touch typing are not mutually exclusive. The lighter switches are very hard to avoid bottoming out, so don't feel bad about it. Or you can get one of the heavier switches.
Or put thick o-rings to reduce the travel distance if you really want to.
I need a new CPU to replace my FX 9590 (Yes I know its absolute shit and is basically a heater), price doesn't matter to me right now, and I want to know if I should get the 5820k or the 6700k. I plan to overclock as I have an H100i. What should I do /g/?
Is it cheaper or overpriced? I'm Italian just asking.
A GTX 970 here costs $ 406,66
Since when in the hell was this more user friendly than a fucking progress bar?
>I have no idea how long this is going to take.
>I was not advised there would be an update. (Forgot to turn those auto updates off)
>I can think of a million situations where this info would be critical
>Didn't even check for a proper power source and would have updated itself to death.
What the fuck happened to user experience? Even Normie's aren't...

Since windows 8 launched and had fucking smiley face as bluuescreen instead of the actual error which you could search online and find out a solution or simpy figure it out by yourself.
I've been out of the loop for a while, and I'm looking to get back in.
What's a good mobo+cpu right now? Quality stuff, but not too expensive, so maybe not the absolute latest and craziest shit.
Hey /g/ I'm motherboard shopping, I need something that can do sli and crossfire, quad might be perfered, and that has OC Genie 4 for overclocking automatically. It has to be LGA 1150, I'm not falling for the DDR4, and Skylake meme. What do you /g/uys recommend?
Budget is around 0-150 USD max.
Should I be genuinely afraid of the Windows 10 botnet actually spying on me if I use it or is it all just a /g/ meme?
well guys, new Firefox goes out today. This will be stable 43, beta 44, developer edition 45, nightly 46, and ESR 38.5.
Release notes aren't available right now, so here is a nice tl;dr how what to expect with the update.

Hi guys, I've come into possession of an Iphone 5 with the latest IOS installed. The old Icloud is still on there but it asks for a password before I can remove it. If I go to apple is it possible they can remove it? Or is there a way I can get around it.
No I didn't steal the phone. It was sitting in lost and found in my workplace for 2 months.
They still have this build...
>64-bit works dubiously on Windows because Win changes the size of Int and the size of addresses whereas Linux just changes the size of address.
Is this legit? What are the repercussions?
>Is this legit?
Yes. int is only guaranteed to be at least 16 bits.
>What are the repercussions?
None, be a good C programmer and never assume anything about the underlaying architecture.
>Yes. int is only guaranteed to be at least 16 bits.
Well, there are the horrible preprocessor tests to determine the size of the types, but tose are icky.
When Windows API is concerned though, that's quite stable as long as one uses the WinDef.h type definitions.
What's the best equivalent to V0 / 320 MP3?
-V2 if you're going to be using MP3.
Otherwise you should really consider using something better such as Vorbis, AAC or Opus. Opus is probably the best out of those three, bitrate for bitrate, but AAC will have the widest support. Vorbis and Opus are libre as well.
