Where the fuck are the leaks and why is no one talking about them?
It appears that they have been successfully contained from spreading.
Hey /g/, taking C++ (uni). Any recommended C++ books for modern C++? Thanks!
>buy prebuilt HP 2000 for $115 on eBay

This thing feels like a massive upgrade from my phenom/hdd rig
Apple fags, how many have updated there devices? Anybody experiencing critical issues after installation? Should I just wait for the next patch update? I NEED THIS UPDATE!
>inb4 tech fags hate, i aint tryin to hear it
>Anybody experiencing critical issues after installation?
There are no issues. The issues they were having at the very beginning with OTA updates were fixed very quickly and those effected only had to restart the update process and were fine. You will be totally fine if you dl it now
Why is Windows so bad at handling hardware upgrades? Change motherboard and/or cpu and you'll be lucky to make it past the login screen before bluescreening.
Meanwhile on Linux you can upgrade whatever the fuck you want without any problems occurring.
CPU change won't give you bluescreen, only motherboard change will. And only if it uses a different disk controller chip. It's very easy to get around if you really want to, but Windows will deactivate when you change mobo.
When will the flat/material/lazy software design meme end?
It's fucking Windows 98 for mobile, disgusting
of Telegram/Discord/whatsapp and all those other new phone appz over IRC? I'm trying to see any benefit, but they just seem to suck ass.
Why did we do away with the big old Enter keys? They were so comfy.
>messaging app is now basically facebook messenger
>click to unlock
>widgets on lock screen
>lock screen music looks like shit
why would they do this? I like the new look of the widgets but ios10 ruins the simplicity that made a lot of stock apps good
>he fell for the smartphone meme
Grown men are actually throwing money at laptops in smartphone bodies, you don't do anything on your 67" long super quad hyper ultra HD 2398723MAH Samshit Phablet that a $40 smartphone from yesterday couldn't do.
I spent $200 for a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 from eBay. I use it constantly to listen to music, talk to my family, friends, and girlfriend. I shitpost on it. Also I look at porn of course. I might end up upgrading to something better when I'm not so poor but I haven't considered it a meme since I was on the HTC MyTouch 3g using Android 1.5. It's actually quite useful and it's always with me.
Starting a project.

My dumbass Dad thinks it's worth paying $2000 for a MacBook Pro when my brother still needs to get through college. Does anyone have that infographic explaining how poor of a decision buying an apple laptop is?
He's dead set on buying one even though our family is hard on cash. Please help.
/g/ how do I convince my buddy laying your fucking card outside in an ad is the worst way to have it listed... just... man
>Headphone purchase advice
>/g/ wiki headphone FAQ
Are there any couple hundred dollar headphones that actually feel like they didn't cost $20 to manufacture? I can understand metal is heavy and using plastic makes it lighter on your head. But looking at some of these headphones I see being recommended around just look like they're cheap as fuck. All those hundreds of dollars just go into the actual earpieces themselves or what? Where is all his money actually going?
I asked this in the other thread, but maybe it will get more traction in the new thread...
Are k550's good at all? I'm seeing a few used on ebay for ~$80 and it seems like a steal to me.
I'm part of a research group and our boss wants us to do some fancy mapmaking. His dream scenario would see us working on interactive maps of specific cities not unlike what we see on Google Maps, except we would get to add our own points of interest (mainly historical buildings). The interactive part is that whenever a user highlights such a point, he'd get access to the buildings' info. Not just some summary either, we're talking pages of text, images, maybe videos.
Long term, this map would be hosted on our groups website and available...

We're still in the early stages and trying to figure out if any of this is possible. Right now we're focusing on acquiring the historical data, the tech/map stuff is the next step.
Looking into ArcGIS, seems promising.
ESRI's ArcGIS is pretty much THE goto GIS program with the caveat of it being expensive proprietary software that uses proprietary datafiles which everyone uses because it's THE goto program.
Its time to have fun with 16TB of hitachi
What does he know that we don't?
Does iOS 10 supports webm?
>tfw my thinkpad is almost perfect aside from the creaking on the left side when you move it

Let's see your typing skills /g/.
Anything under 110 wpm is normie tier desu.
>under 110 wpm is normie tier
meh, good enough for me.
Using 2 fingers to type and never thought about it.
Are these a meme?
I'm getting more and more interested by deep learning and ai in general.
I want to build neural networks with C (because that's what i'm learning right now).
Where should i start ? I didn't find anything on the wiki and not much on the internet apart for tensorflow and stuff.
I'm looking for a point to start with no knowledge, like a tutorial, a library with good documentations or a book.
also are you into it anon ? What did use did you make of your neural network ? what are the fun project you achieve with deep learning ?

Nice quads, almost a GET.
Look for any tutorial on the internet, the "hard" part is the mathematics, not the programming. It should be easy to adapt a java tutorial to C.
Once I developed a set of neural networks that would be able to elaborate and connect complex ideas. Didn't work very well.

/g/ I've got a 3gb 7950 radeon, just ordered a 6gb 1060. Have I fucked up? The radeon sounds like a jet engine anything over 40% fan speed, couldn't take that shit anymore.
Don't listen to any of the dx12 shills here, 1060 is much faster than any amd rx series card.
Rx only beats it in cherry picked dx12 synthetics with a beastmode OC i7 skylake to make up for amd driver overhead.
Yeah, I see through it mate. A decent upgrade over the 7950, anon? The noise of this fucking cunt is astounding.
Hello /g/. Rajesh here. Just wanting to let you guys know i have started my own tech support website, If you would like come check it out.
what is a good background audio recorder?
for example: I have OBS and can record audio from any media playing on my PC but OBS only outputs those recordings in video formats.
I want something that can record any source of audio im playing on my PC and record it as an audio file like .WAV, MIDI, or MP3 or whatever.
I thought about using a free-ware video to audio converter for the recordings from OBS but thats just extra work, time, and perhaps quality loss of the recordings.
Which laptop is the best to install Linux on? It seems like every time I install Linux, there's always something that just doesn't work right.
Does Ubuntu Gnome contain the same spyware and dash search logs as Ubuntu Unity?
How feasible is Kali Linux for a beginner?
>Does Ubuntu Gnome contain the same spyware and dash search logs as Ubuntu Unity?
Not any more
>How feasible is Kali Linux for a beginner?
Kali is not for using as a daily OS. It's used for live ISO or under VMs.
