Does /g/ love Xfce? Opinions?
These are just a meme /g/? You surely don't sacrifice your writes and space for these things?
The only people that think they're not worthwhile are children without a source of income. Remember like 10 years ago when upgrading your RAM was the best thing you could do for your PC? Now it's upgrading to SSD.
Almost everybody here has fallen for the meme OP. It's too late.
What's even the point of buying a fury x?
>having I/O errors
>having random "there is no disk in the drive" errors when using USB drives
>losing torrents if your PC shuts down unexpectedly
>losing settings if you don't close it properly
>having huge CPU spikes even when not torrenting anything
>randomly forgets your completed folder

Yo /g/, what is your perfect Linux distro?
I'm not trying to bash Linux, I actually would like to use it. But how do you get around the problem of compatibility with video games? Yeah yeah, I know, "gaymz are for kids XD", but seriously.
Dual booting is of course an option, but constant rebooting doesn't seem practical. Wine works to some extent, but not always, especially with games that have been obtained, ahem, semi-legally.
Is there some third option I'm missing?
>but constant rebooting doesn't seem practical
You can always change your habits, like "today I'm going to play videogames" and just boot into windows. While if you just want to work you boot with Linux
Has Jony Ive started smoking Crack, lost his mojo or just got fucking lazy since Jobs died?
Yeah but at one time, even an Apple hater could see that they were absolute masters of design. Their current stuff is cringeworthy.

Get with the times, gramps.
Would slower than normal boot times and loading times of some software be a symptom of a dying harddrive?
Also, I've noticed things like time it takes for certain resources to load into games and some stuttering.
I've had a SSD for about 6 years (agility 3), and some shit regular 7200rpm harddrive for probably around the same amount of time.
Even firefox opens slowly occasionally.
I almost definitely don't have any sort of malware because I recently formatted both and re-installed my OS on the SSD.
pros: windows 10 made it fast as fuck
cons: shit camera
pros: i can actually use it
cons: gets hot
has senpai kun refreshed his thermal paste today?
So this... is the..... power.... of Apple... design............
So the vocore coin sized Linux computer has been out for over a year now and i still cant find any cool or remotely interesting projects with it. whats with that?
