I've been having booting problems, so I thought maybe my (new) PSU wasn't working. I unplugged everything and tested it with the paperclip method, and the PSU and everything worked fine. But, when I re-plugged the 24 pin plug back into my motherboard and tried to turn it on, it wouldn't work.
Is it safe to say that my motherboard is kill and I should get a new one? Pisses me off because I got a brand new Z140 Pro4S in April and the shit's already dead. Can I go ahead and buy a new one or would this problem happen even if the motherboard didn't go bad?
Just installed debian. why did i ever use anything different.
When will this meme end?
You see this sign and your self-driving car inexplicably takes the next right all on its own.
What do you do?
Please keep the Reddit-bashing and general shitposting to a minimum, though I know this is gonna get ignored anyway.
I got ahold of a few Windows 7 Pro keys from a couple of old machines and thought i'd share some.
Promised to do so in >>56536590
I'm just gonna share a few at a time, no reason just cause.
It doesn't get better than this
Isn't this a lovely fucking design?
Is there any good free vpn service out there?
No. If they're not selling you something then you're the thing they're selling. Also don't fall for meme shit tier American based VPNs like whatever private access, I forgot the name.

reddit /r/androiddev/comments/529k9p/rxify_a_simple_spell_for_complex_rxjava_operators/ look this retarded SJW childishing an entire genre.
Just for the good laugh: "Stay tuned for more adventures of Ron, Hermione and Harry and learn how to `Rxify` day-to-day tasks."
I linked it through Reddit, so you can downvote with me.

What are some good projects to show to employers if one wants to be come a sysadmin, particularly involving linux? I'm thinking of getting a cloud server for setting up a blog where I talk about learning linux and other technologies, and also my experiences with LUGs. What do you guys think?
I need a cheap phone with a good sound quality for my headphones since my ruggear can't get some 3.5 mm jacks inside, you guys got some suggestions?
I found an iPhone 5s in the road. It was passcode protected, it had its servce cancelled (no service in notification bar), and Siri inaccessible so no way to contact original owner. I posted on Craigslist saying I found a lost iPhone and where, still no response from anyone.
Is it essentially a brick now? I figured it was a lost cause and did a factory restore, but it has an activation lock.
Anything worth doing with it, or is this a toss in the bin situation?
I'm not particularly concerned with using it as an actual cell phone and would be fine with keeping it as a wi-fi only development / futz around device.
If its impossible to even do something like that, then yeah I'll probably do like you recommended.
i found it elbow deep inside a mans b-hole and i figured yo whatever, finders keepers.
As an eurofag born in 1998, explain to me what AOL is/was. I've seen old Windows versions including a "Connect to AOL" icon.

So after flashing a custom ROM, my phone boots up completely normally. That is until I get to the home screen, however. The moment the screen goes off, it won't turn on again, until I either hard reset or pull the battery. I then have to clear Dalvik/factory reset to get out of a bootloop, thus restarting the cycle. This isn't the first flashing of this ROM that's gone this way. I'm just wondering if anyone would know what the root of this issue is, and how to prevent it.

It does not matter how many you will order, this will always be a DoA.

Is controlling your mouse with your brain a meme?
So, /g/. What's a good MP3 player that's small, and has a large storage capacity? I'm a skateboarder, and I like skating while listening to music. But doing so with a giant phone in my pocket gets annoying.
I was looking on Amazon, and I've found a few Chinese iPod knockoffs that claim to be 64gb, at only 35 USD or so, but I'm not so sure about those.
iPod Classics seem like a good option, however, they cost 500 dollars (What the fuck???) and you have to use iTunes. Which to me, is pretty close to being a deal breaker.

If you actually buy an iPod classic, you could put rockbox on it. You don't even have to do that, rhythm box and other Linux based music players can load music on to it and sync with it easily.

I don't think that one is mechanical but they definitely make ones that are
They're several models for like 20 bucks, which isn't that bad for an old alps keyboard. Also in some models you can switch them to qwerty with a lever on the back

Thoughts on ubuntu MATE for old laptops?
Just upgraded from a Note 3 to a Note 7. Being as smart phones these days are quite powerful on their own, what interesting things can be done with a Note 3?
Possibly use it as a NAS server? Torrenting? Run Ubuntu on it? Anything cool? I'd hate to just shove it in a drawer.
Got a gtx 1070 and having trouble deciding on best monitor resolution to last me a while and be at least 27'. The PC would be used for gaming as well as coding.
A) Two 1440p monitors - how long would the card be able to support this?
B) 1440p and 1080p - Probably for the best, the only obstacle is my autism
C) dual 1080p - spend the money somewhere else
What would /g/ do?

Anything worth waiting for? Pic. Related is what I use, but I Samsung is turning into Apple, so fuck that.
This is a question for google. You are obviously a woman apple user considering your laziness. Go away shill.
Since Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter are run by kikes and any clone of these services would be just as susceptible to the same problems why shouldn't people create an open alternative?
To replace Youtube, I suggest creating a format where people can create torrent-like things that contain content, then upload the necessary information to find the video to a giant peer to peer ledger of these files. Since this platform is open multiple clients could exist to search these files based on tags the uploader provides, or even interest based websites that collect videos...
